I can’t find a decent name for this attraction but it would be perfect for a park that has so many nostalgic and devout fans.
As you enter the attraction through the caves you can hear the sounds of past attractions from the park. “Journey at the speed of fright… “ “you have such hunger for my secrets?!” “Ugh faeries! Get those pesky little creatures out of my pub!”
You enter into the first room which serves as a museum of old attractions from the park. Old posters and merch from the 50 year history of the park, old maps showing the evolution of the park. Maybe even have a coaster car or two inside for
Photo ops. You are told to head into the next room.
A window shows a lab-like set up built into the scenery And a staff member appears. This is Patrick, a member of Busch Gardens’ Research and Development team. He explains that this spot appears to be built on a rift of time, meaning echoes from the past are slipping through which is why the attraction has been closed for so long. He then explains that the park has created a way to send guests through the rift and experiences their favorite attractions now defunct. He assures us it’s totally safe and they haven’t lost anybody yet… this week. He urges you into the next room to begin preparations for your voyage to the olde country.
Here you would watch a decently entertaining safety video explaining the protocols and would be themed to experiments and safety protocol.
As you enter the ride, you may notice the screen that use to be here is no longer here. This is because the old ride system and projection tech would be ripped out and instead a 360 projection dome with a ride system capable of 360 degrees of movement would be added.
Your journey begins as a rift in time appears and you blast out into a scene from questor followed by corkscrew hill. Something seems to go wrong as your vehicle is launched out of the castle and into Aquitaine as you race on le manns raceway, bumping into cars, completely out of control. You then get sent into old Oktoberfest where you find yourself on glissade for a brief moment before flying off the track and onto drachen fire. Here the ride system may be slightly “rougher” as a joke. You then fly off and get hooked onto the track of big bad wolf venturing forth into the Bavarian village and down the hill. You swing around and fly off grimms hollow , go
Through one of Nessie’s loops and crash into the petting zoo. As Patrick attempts to bring you back, he accident sends you into Hastings and the old shooting gallery and crashing through The Enchanted Laboratory and having pelinore especially fly at the audience through the destruction. Finally you come to a halt back in the ride building hearing the last few lines of questor before the time rift takes you back to your proper time. Patrick’s thanks you and wishes you a good rest of Your day as he accidentally leaves the microphone on and tries to convince his aide to take the blame this time.
As you exit you’d see various “props and pieces” from past attractions stuck into the wall as if the debris was brought back too.
