Mind you this is Texas so it's a good value thing. The ability to get into the AC is nice.The only time I ever went in arcades at amusement parks was when it was raining. It's good for that. A way to kill some time while you wait for the rain to pass and you can get back to riding. Also HP at least used to have a nice collection of old electromechanical pinball machines, which were worth playing.
From my understanding, the original intention was to draw some e-gaming tournament business to the parks. I don’t think that ever happened though.Someone tell me if I’m wrong but this always baffled me. I didn’t understand why someone would go to the park to play video games. Was this actually popular?
