About the different whips, when I had mine, it looked a bit foamy when it melted which was kind of quick, but it was a hot day so not sure if that makes a difference.

Can confirm, I got Dole Whip in a waffle cone last night in Festa and it was cheaper.

What's the difference in price?

And if so then they need to advertise this so as to not turn people away based on pricing especially those who are keen to the fact that DIS prices theirs at $3 cheaper.

These is some discussion on Twitter about this that even Dole is questioning BG on their use of their products.

I've wondered this myself because at one time the only places you could get this was on the Dole Plantation in HI and at WDW.

I've seen pineapple softserve at a variety of locations, including KD. I can't recall, if they branded it as "Dole Whip," however.

That said, when I was there, BGW was selling it as "pineapple soft serve" I think.

There are other variations out there along with I have seen in the grocery stores "Pineapple Ice Cream" however it wasn't Dole.

But BGW sign actually reflects the usage of Dole Soft Serve which at one time was only sold on their plantation and at the MK at WDW until it was expanded to a second location at the Poly hotel a few years back.

I guess this is why Dole tweeted them questioning their usage of their products especially the Pineapple.

IDK, I haven't had it because of pricing as I stated but others including those here on the forums say it's exactly the same.

I ordered one yesterday. They didn't offer me the pineapple, so I assumed they were out. They asked if I wanted it in a cone or cup. I chose the cup. It was $5 and change, and a large serving. I think it's the same price as any other soft serve in a cup. The menu specifically says Dole Whip.
