I had no idea where to post this, but I've been sick today, so for some reason I decided that of all the things I have to do, this was worth my time. I've been thinking about making this ever since BBW2's theme was announced, but I've always (correctly) told myself I had something better to do. Guess I finally lost that battle with myself.

And the Iceland Freeze bit of the puzzle was straight from the park at a media event. We asked explicitly how it was possible that Gerta and Gunter could have a snowboard-loving son named Hans given that they were siblings. The park didn't have an answer other than some joke about backwoods life.

That’s not true… I talked with many enthusiast, besides it’s not canon at all

If you want to choose to disregard the fact that he park has explicitly stated they are siblings on their website, have produced images of romantic attraction between them, and have confirmed through statements by park personnel that they have a son, that's on you. The provided facts from the park say that they are canonically incestuous.

... why? Media produced for the ride is just about as best a primary source for the ride's lore as one could wish for.

Obviously BGW didn't expressly set out to theme a ride to incest, but at some point along the way, wires were likely crossed creatively, the left hand didn't know what the right hand was doing, and the outcome is that the ride's main characters are both siblings and lovers.

Ultimately, it's just not that serious. It's just an amusing little factoid about BGW—no different than Fabio x Apollo, Sandra Bullock x Verbolten, etc.

Still need proof.. more than screenshots, that “lore” is illegal btw
