Any time an upcharge ride goes IMO it’s no real loss to the park. The novelty of this wore off years ago…
I don't think most people are upset with DDD itself leaving but with its removal being an added insult to injury with all the other removals which is quite understandable. If 7 other rides weren't already being removed most wouldn't care about DDD. The current situation with the park is dire, fan goodwill is low, and a lot of tempers on all sides are running high.

Personally, losing DDD makes the other losses easier to swallow. The boardwalk was easily the worst area of the park and I’m excited to see what they do with all this space. It’s not like they’re taking out fan favorites from every section of the park. Truthfully, I think KEEPING DDD while you’re removing everything around it would be true insult to injury.

Retheme Superman next please

I felt like the better use of space for dare devil dive would be a new showcase theater in case the old one gets replaced by a new ride for metropolis expansion, I mean, the space for dare devil dive wasn't always a ride and instead a garden area when the park first opened in 1974
