Too bad it seems the park is intent on hiring a body builder/actor instead of an actual DJ for the role of... Demon DJ.

I find this rather ironic considering most Dj's are the polar opposite of the body builder type. Random example. Deadmau5.

Deadmau5 isn't a DJ...

BUT, the point gets across well enough. Check Qbert or Tiesto out. They are both regular sized dudes.

I'm pretty sure they run the queue for Bitten directly through that whole covered pavilion. But I do like the idea of maybe having it off the beaten path... maybe in one of the many empty fields you see while riding the train? That'll give it the campy, creepy 'we are in the middle of nowhere' feel for HOS.

They can use the Festhaus Park field and Verbolten service road for queue space if they really needed it.

Also in regards to Nic's post about it being too far off the beaten path:

I really don't see any issue. The park still gets a lot of people to find their way to Bitten with no issue and one could debate that it is further off the beaten path. Also, those who pass by the Black Forest Picnic Area to get to Bitten should be able to see/hear or at least notice in someway there is some type of club experience going on and ask about it. If anything I can see them mistaking it for Bitten.

If it is an up-charge event, and the point is to make money, then you want maximum visibility. Look at Blood Banquet.

If the park really wants to create a dance party for anyone over the age of 13, it shouldn't be outside.

Edit: and they should use a real DJ.

Come on now. We both know that's not the case.

You would still have a very high visibility, especially with a free haunted house hour right next door that on occasion brings in hour long lines. If people are standing in line for hours right next to a dance club, they'd know it's there.

Hint. Sub-Contract a proper DJ. All liability for failure to pay fees to perform songs etc would fall on the DJ and not the company that hired them.

All problems solved

Edit: Clarifying my post, It's the venue's responsibility to cover all the ascap/bmi and whoever else fees. But some of those companies have different terms for artist and venues. BMI and ascap are the two biggest ones that require the venues cover those licenses. Normally if you have those covered you are good.

21+ Dance club might be a bit hard to pull off in Busch. I think 18+ would be fine. 21+ only if they had an exclusive area inside this hypothetical club that was 21+.

I think the parks biggest problem would be execution and marketing... But if people found out about it, It could definitely be a draw to keep people in the park til 11pm-12am, and empty their wallets.

I remember the dance club at HOS at BGT themed each year(CLUB X, CLUB ENVY). I do believe they have one this year CLUB CURSED. I am all for it and if they had a real dj spinning instead of a looped tracked. I myself love dance music, I'm a HOUSE MUSIC HEAD. They could do it at some point and I would enjoy it.

Ok thanks to my friend found a pic of BGT HOS CLUB CURSEDhttps://encrypted-tbn2.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTPNjYaGSsgl4U-eoZpZGY7HfmzrYGXUXWlJrWz9RPXnG7OR97OGw

Coming from a teenager, it should have an age limit of 21 so that it doesn't get wierd.

You mean 21+ right, not 21 and under? The park wants to make money on alcohol - I'd be shocked if 20 and unders could get in.

Sky

Edit: That was a gut response from reading the first page. Yea let minors in, just let me have my drinks.
