I did like that we went inside and outside for this house. Problem is that when we went it was still light out and it really kinda killed the atmosphere. The being smacked in the face with chains that have body parts on them sucked. My favorite part was the nox arcana pirate soundtrack. Thats the only thing that really screamed "creepy pirate theme" lol in festa.

Lol am i sensing sarcasm, just kidding :cool: . I like most of their stuff, it gave the ominous tone that i thought the area should have had. I kinda feel like if they had continued following the tone of that particular album pirates would have been cool and not sparkly :).

I was just thinking that with all the attention given to the park this year i am also hopeful that this might get some TLC and an upgrade.

Although the house was always quite immersive and (dare I say) pretty, I doubt the park will do too much in its later years. Although, it would be just like Busch Gardens to fully revamp something right before removing it entirely.

^ Amen... CTC is great with atmosphere and has great potential as a fun and well themed maze. It's not meant to bve super scary. It's meant to be an adventure and fun, which it does well. Never have I been through and not been entertained(excludes the year I was in it). This maze is easily one of my favorites for how immersive it is.

Some touch ups would be nice just to prevent people from breaking the bloody thing, but nothing TOO much. Just some new paint jobs and new props. Maybe a few more hiding spots like in the torture area.

I've always thought they should move the fear of heights room to CTC. Walking the plank. Maybe at the end, so it doesn't create a conga line.

Also, I believe the strength of this maze is that relies on disorientation more than startles. The house itself does some of the work. That said the teamwork from the actors last year was amazing. They didn't need hiding places,when one person could distract you, so the second could "get" you.

Exactly. Look at the last picture on the site for CTC. that's me and another scare actor doing just that! He distracted people and I would jump out. It's one of the best types of scares I can think besides mannequin scares.The crew of CTC really do act as a crew.

It is i made a mistake my first time going through it was still light. It made the scariest part of it going into the dark into the light so i was blind as hell. This year i know what to do! lol

Looks like the maze is no more? Or they are doing some major changes...there was a big dumpster over there. Only buildings remaining where the chicken coops from Wunderbarn.

I really hope so I like pirates just not like this. We need something new in this spot.

The permanent buildings have been there ever since 2008 when Wicked Woods: Ripper Row opened up, yet all props that are associated with the house were removed. For example, some props from Wicked Woods were salvaged while others were simply thrown away on the transition to Cursed.

Based on this knowledge I could see a new house, but keep in mind this is simply coming from a fan. I have heard rumors of that a new house is going to Festa, but I don't want to sound like I'm clowning around.

CTC was the longest running house to ever take place in Festa Field with a three year stay, so I guess now is a good time to sail away.

We heard last year that this maze was history.

This pretty much what we heard last year about it being removed Dumpsters and all but despite that I hope this year it turns out to be true.
