Earlier in the day, we had the pleasure of seeing the last scene frozen on the exit video. The sound still played regular, of course. But, the door was already broken and no wolf. "He who knows much" told us that once it gets off sync the results cascade. We had seen a blank white screen at the snake before, but this was new.

It is becoming more interesting to ride to watch for what it doesn't do rather than for what it's suppose to do.

Ummm. It froze when I was on it too, and we were on the last scene and what you just described is basically what happened to me. So were you in the same sleigh as me? I was in the front row of the sleigh. Were you in the back?

The problem is that DK never runs with 2 unloaders anymore, that would solve all the issues with the final few scenes being off... It's very hard for one unloader to handle the output from 2 loaders.

Ours was ealier in the day, not during pass memeber time. Was that when you experienced it? That would be some cool Mars in retrograde Serendipity going on.

Edit: What we saw during Pass Member rides was our car pointing to the side of the screen instead of the center.

Look folks, I know that Pirates 4D is gone, and I guess they need to utilize those red 3D glasses somehow, but damn!! For the love of all that is good, get them out of DarKastle!! People can't make up their minds..."Should I wear red or black? Red goes with my outfit. No. Black then. I can't decide!" Pick a pair of freakin' glasses! They're all the same!! This sucks a few more minutes off of my life, and it's a pain in the arsse. Seriously!! It's not like they were ever hurting for lack of black glasses, so what gives?!?! Plus, people are touching/trying on multiple pairs and put them back in the bin. I'm sure Nora will LOVE that.

I think you underestimate the importance of proper accessorization. I am less powerful when my glasses/jewelry/shoes/bags/etc don't match.

What they need to do is invest in some hot pink glasses to coordinate with my fabulous madras shorts.

When was the last time any of you saw this?

I have never seen the lines like this in 3+ years. And I try and ride DK every time I visit. Love it! But HELL to the NO when I see a line even looking like it may be sticking out from the covered area and more than one lane. :shocked:

If you took the ultimate insider tour you may have seen this little Easter egg. In the library scene with the fire place scene everybody signed there name on all of the fake books. But,nobody looks over there on the ride because there looking at the screen. Your probably not going to believe me but, there is a Hidden Mickey on one of the books. You can' t see it on the ride unless you look really hard. When I saw this everybody started laughing! It's definitely worth a try to look for it.

I'm sure this has already been brought up, I didn't feel like going through all the pages to find it. What if, for Howl-o-scream, they turned CoDK into a haunted ride. Have it be the same theme, just with live scare-actors and not projection screens. Have people ride in the cars and have people jumping out at them from high hiding places. If needed they could have it running normally during the day, then have it converted for night.
Bad thing is A) there would be a HUGE LINE!! B) It wouldn't be the same scare factor being in a car where the monsters can't get all up in yo' face! Any thoughts?

Scare Actors would be in danger by the HIGH voltage track. I'm sure there is a picture, but the electrical is nice and exposed on the right(?) of the guide track.

I remember one year there was werewolfs in the que for Howl-o-Scream. There was Also shrubbery guys hiding in the vines.

When I first went to HOS, I thought CoDK would be the scariest place in the park, but I found out that was not the case. I was sad.

I feel that they should make new animated scenes that are darker and scarier, and add a new pre-show to set the feel of the ride. The queue could have some scare actors and added horror decor to complete the re-designed horror version. The issue with this is getting a whole new makeover just for a Halloween event would be very expensive, but if they pull it off, it could be a huge hit!
