Take this worth a grain of salt, but I asked an employee and they said they had heard upwards of 14k the past couple of days. So I’d guess around there is about how busy it will be.

Yes.

I usually avoid the park during spring break weeks. I find ops to be slow, some rides and restaurants closed due to low weekday staffing levels, and the young / unsupervised crowds to be annoying. This year, Richmond, Williamsburg, and the Peninsula Schools all have Spring Break this week (4/3-4/7). Next week (4/10-4/14), the Southside Schools have spring break.

The figure I have heard from a source that is usually reliable is act 17-18 thousand on average this week.

Anyone know how the crowd levels and operations have been this week??? With all the local schools back in class and having BG Bucks that expire at the end of the week, I am looking at making the trip up for the day today.

I went Sunday and the first half of the day the park was clearly slow with Pantheon a walk on or a station wait the first two hours. We did not wait in a significant queue for anything while we were there. Honestly I can’t recommend April Sundays enough especially at rope drop if you’re a busy adult like me that can’t get down there on weekdays.

I'll be there this weekend. Hopefully the rain isn't too bad, otherwise will come back on Sunday where I hope it'll be pretty relaxed. Looking forward to F&W in May as well.

If you do anyway though because you're like me and you want to watch the world burn, shoot me a message. I'll hang out.

Does anyone know what times the rope drop(s) are when Busch has an official 11a opening? I assume parking and England open earlier than that. I never worked there when they had anything other than the main park at 10 and Oktoberfest/Germany at 11.

parking and England open at 10:30. Everything else should be rolling 15 minutes intervals starting at 11

He's right, every 15 minutes DarKoasters line gets 45 minutes longer! 😂
Yeah, that's what we're trying to avoid. Which is the best route to DK? I assume through Italy, since while the Rhine cut through makes sense, they wouldn't open that til Germany opens and I assume Italy would be closer by that point.

Go through Italy some days they allow you to go straight through that way some days they don't but that is you best shot. The Rhine cut through has been blocked off till 11:30 every time I have gone.

So we walked right through Italy to DK this morning. No extra rope drop. Had about a 10min wait (just outside the station room). Wouldn't wait much more than 15 for it, but that's a discussion for another thread...
