This might be obvious and go without saying but, if you like crowded theme parks, today's a perfect day to visit Busch Gardens.
Park is pretty busy today already. Germany lot is full and Italy is almost full. Big line of cars coming in now too. At the 4pm Scrooged No More and almost all the seats taken with 10 minutes until showtime.

Already slammed. Parking line at the booths using every line goes to the off ramp. Italy will be full shortly, France not far behind. England at about 10% but preferred is being sent there as well.
It happens some especially between Howl-O-Scream and Christmas Town seasons. I believe they just temporarily stop letting guests in until more leave, at least that's the way it used to work a few years back. But generally, it's a good idea to avoid busy days like this if you can given the long lines you will find inside the park and lack of availability on food/beverages.
Also, another barometer you can use to gauge crowds is by checking Google Maps and turning on the traffic layer over the park and toll plaza area. If you see a backup on the onramp to the park or worse backing up to I-64, it's a good idea to plan to visit another day.

Just got here and it's moderately crowed but no more then say what you saw in the first weeks of Christmas Town

Thanks. Ended up making the trip. Coasters have been under 15 minute waits. Unfortunately I was next in line at Pantheon when they closed it for low temps. Last train had 3 open seats too, but they wouldn’t let me jump on as a single rider….
And just like that, as mysteriously as Mach Tower arrived, it left.
Park is pretty crowded today. Food lines are long and painfully slow. Apollos is back to running two train ops and Alpengeist is still down to one train ops. Parking was back to the route 60 overpass about 12:30 and they were parking people in Germany making them walk because of no tram service
