They just announced that we are welcome to stay in the park for the afternoon session. They aren't even kicking anyone out between 4pm -530pm. But all coasters will pause operation until the scheduled 5:30p evening session.
I'd wonder if they are a big overlap in people reserving both times that its not that relevant. Also it's a nice gesture to single day ticket buyers dealing with the long waits.

I kinda doubt the over lap thing in this case. Most of the previous combined days had high over lap which was part of why the park started combining them the fact that they chose not to with the Easter Saturdays till today make me think that there was not the same level of over lap but I can not confirm that. As for it being a nice jester it is but not if you bought a single evening ticket and now have the increased crowds from both the evening and day visitors that chose to stay.

Well turns out I am not going to the park today after all my Monday reservation isn't showing up and when I tried to look and rebook it every thing is SOLD OUT for today given the crowd size last week when it was not listed as sold out I really kind of scared as to what todays crowds will be.

$10 says if you just showed up they would let you in anyways.

Even better then that New reservations just popped up as open when I went back to screen shot it. So I have one and will be leaving to see how bad this really is expect updates.

Update and back to sold out. Guess one single ticket freed up????

Despite the crowds it doesn't appear as packed as last week. Finnigan appears to have been an early outlier there are lines all into the over flow queue but not bursting out through them. food and beverage lines are still ungodly bad and with the temps rising later in the week this will only become a bigger issue

Not sure why the entrance bottle necked so much as the rest of the park is hit or miss on crowds. Bumper cars have been added and Finnigan is running both arms and both trains are running on the railroad. But the decision to close to drink stands when drink waits have been one of the biggest complaints is an interesting one.

Yesterday was very busy, first trip for us of Food & Wine so can't compare it to any other day of F&WF this year but probably the busiest I've seen the park since Covid. Rain & storm came around 4ish? and a ton of people seemingly cleared out. The weather was great after that for a few hours, then the storm came back way harder around 8. All of the F&WF kiosks were maybe max 5 minute waits when they reopened them.
