Just got home from the park today crows was real light at 9 when they opened Fiesta Italia for pass members only rode Apolls 2 times before they had a problem with the gates not opening then rode Tempsto 2 times no waiting by this time it was time for me to head to Invader no wait but in the next hour it was jammed went back to apollos about 4 had to wait 15 minutes as park was busy but not packed, also heard next year spring break will only be 2 weeks instead of 3.

Friday 26 May 17. Arrived 1:45 pm crowd moderate. About 5 cars deep at parking toll booth. Food Festival booth lines light but slow. Wait about 5-7 mins for back row Griffon.

InvadR line 1 hour or a bit more.

6pm update - crowd picked up as the afternoon wore on but still bearable.

We just heard that they have started parking Platinum in France, even entering through the employee gate. Of course, they blocked off half of the England lot for VIP and buses.

They are also apparently prepping to start using Scotland/Bavaria for general parking.

I'm hoping for the predicted afternoon rain.

Late May-June is probably one of the best times of the year to hit up the park because the weather is usually cooperative and the summer crowds haven't rolled in yet. Food & Wine brings people in on weekends but those lines are usually concentrated around the booths and not the rides themselves.

Yes. Please limit posts here to crowds that you are seeing, while in the park.

Predictions based on historical data are great, but the specific intent of this thread is to tell the community what is actually happening day to day, so people can make decisions about whether to visit.

Danger, Will Robinson, Danger!

As we were leaving this morning's F&WF media event at about 11 am, we saw a seemingly endless stream of school band-members in matching t-shirts filling up the park. The walkways were already flooded.

I strongly recommend against visiting BGW today.

All in all the park was not very busy today.  Frankly I was somewhat surprised, the weather was fine and the staff was really en pointe.

Norfolk Harborfest and VB Sand Soccer tournament this weekend.

that explains much. I forgot about Harborfest. Presumably all that remains of my senior class from the 90s was there... (because booze and boats... and... well... no that is pretty much it.)

Arrived at about 10:20 or so this morning.:)
Walk-on/one train Griffon (5x)
10-15 minutes InvadR (3x, by that time the line was a little longer than when I rode the first time; also this is one of the few rides I have decided I will wait a bit extra for the front on:))
Walk-on for Alpengeist (2x, there was a little longer wait for the front row, I went in the back both times)
Walk-on Mach Tower (4x, okay, I rather enjoy the view and find it relaxing and then laugh my head off on the drop, but I won't wait for it, so yay for walk-ons!)
15 minutes ish Verbolten (1x, only the front half of the station was running)
walk-on/one train Apollo's Chariot (5x)

and then my mom picked me up because she and little sis were done shopping at the Williamsburg outlets, so no Nessie or Tempesto today :( Next time, next time...:p All in all, a nice park day though even though it was kind of hot.
