It’s just confusing why they would have the bucks in the kiosk at SWO and BGT but not the home park of BGW.

Universal did a great job with the two houses. They made barriers that kept people apart yet some were almost invisible. Some were more noticeable but even the scare actors wearing masks were not noticeable. Hope we get a few more houses in the next couple weeks.

But I still have questions. For example they say that there's no outbreaks at parks, but they also say under Pennsylvania, "But like many states, Pennsylvania does not provide details on COVID-19 outbreaks at individual theme parks." ??? So is this like stopping testing to stop positive test results? I'd like to believe that it's safe, though.

I’m highly skeptical about no outbreaks; especially since our systems lack any sort of contact tracing.

Yep. I'm thinking it's a we don't have data, so I guess there's no outbreaks type deal. Also it's interesting that they hid that bit of info under Pennsylvannia. Why is that info not right at the top? And why don't they list what states have this policy (or limitation, whatever it might be)?

Yeah but if you test positive they go into detail about there you have been and what you did. While there isn't contact tracing to the point that we can pinpoint that I was within 10 feet of someone who had it, they can trace your locations to see if they cross with anyone else who has tested positive. That's that they mean by no outbreaks traced to Amusement parks. When they go back 2 weeks with infected people they aren't able to line up theme park visits with other people who tested positive.

So with De Santis fully opening Florida I wonder if this will change the outlook for HHN lite.

I thought the new guidelines only called for a 10 day quarantine after a positive test? It's only 14 days if you were a close contact and didn't test positive.

But I also have an issue with that headline. It's intentionally misleading. In the article they specifically mentioned that it's the end of their 10 days but the headline specifically talks about 14 days. Also there's no indication that they will be there, it's just hosted at the governor's mansion. It's just sensationalist and hopes that people will only read the headline and not the article.

Ummmmmm??

Taken care of. In the future, we encourage the use of the Report button—it highlights potential rule violations for us way easier than a post in the thread while allowing discussion to continue relatively unaffected. Regardless, thanks for pointing it out!

CDC says 14 days still by the looks of it.

This is a very good point though.

It's 14 days if you just had close contact with someone. It's 10 days after symptoms appeared if you tested positive.

I'm not trusting anything out of the CDC given the rate at which things are taken off the site that support mask wearing. CDC has become politicized.

Are there other reputable sources with conflicting information on this issue? I haven't gone searching—just seems like we shouldn't cast doubt without data is all.

I wouldn’t put it as this issue in specifics. But given how lately the CDC will post about mask and distancing, and have it pulled within hours despite data suggesting the recent post is correct Im a little weary. Adding in things like HHS taking over data tracking or cases and asserting themselves in vaccine approval, and the White House wanting time review data makes something not feel kosher.
