Honestly if COTAland is gonna become like a prototype park for Vekoma like I’ve been hearing it might be

The next three coasters there should be

MK1101 (maybe a Hyper, 1-2 inversions)
High Thrill Multi Launch (Think Tecuani Beast, Texas Inversion Record (7))
Family Multi Launch (Think Big Bear Mountain)

RMC was approached for a proposal for a 200+ ft tall coaster for Cotaland. There were three other companies also approached, B&M, Vekoma, and Intamin.. As far as I know, the RMC proposal was turned down by COTA, along with one more manufacturer.
Hmmmm……..so you’re saying one manufacturer was accepted?

Honestly, I would hope Vekoma would build a Hyper and a Tecuani Beast like coaster for COTA

As far as i know, nothing has been accepted yet, but RMC was not one of the ones they moved forward with. I will say, this was about a year ago, so things may have changed. I never saw the original proposal, so this one may be different. But I have a good feeling this is the same one that was turned down.

I just want more Vekoma all around. Lead maintenance at COTA also just wants Vekoma.

Goddamn, this thing looks aggressive. The stall and the airtime bump on the spike are especially surprising. I'm impressed.

Its absolutely insane. No video on-ride or off ride does it justice really. It throws you around and is just a good time all around.

You've ridden it? Give us an in depth review lol.
I rode it for the first time today.

Went in with low expectations. (maybe skewed by Seaworld's media day) Watching the ride from the sideline always has felt like it had very little pace and you cant tell how hard all the elements hit.

I rode with a few people in the industry and our first reaction was holy shit, that's intense. The ride goes from very calm, with a semi typical drop to immediately lunging yourself into element after element that seem way more intense than they should be. The first overbank switchback has so much force. Exiting that segment over the hill and and the transition in the middle of the S bend is wildly whippy. Then you have some good forces in that turn around into the floaty roll. The spike was a huge surprise. The airtime hill actually hits surprisingly hard. the front row definitely gets the most of it, when you begin to go back down you feel like you are being thrown out of your seat.

Everything backwards is just as exciting, it slows down enough for the overbank over the road to really take in the whole experience of hanging there over the road its awesome.

The ride is smooth but powerful with its movements. So you are thrown around a good amount, which is not uncomfortable in these trains. We all loved the ride way more than expected and cant wait to get back on. In all i rode it 6 times today in every row and each corner.

I cant wait till this thing is open. Honestly with CB and Palindrome, its an amazing 2 main coaster lineup. Then Wildcat is always fun. plus.. There is more to come!
