Funny that they actually list Le Scoot as closed since its officially not supposed to be open.

I didn't see a sign about it yesterday.

It has water flowing so I am hoping it will open. Alpie is closed. La Frites is open as is the Canadian Outpost.

I am shocked at how many people don't understand that the whole park is not open. Just overheard one dad tell his teens not to worry the rest opens at 1 as the walked up to see the covered bridge closed. I really don't understand that as the park has done a very good job repeatedly saying what is open.

Went last night. Thought distancing was unusually good, especially since not really enforced, and mask wearing was sufficient and was corrected a few times I saw getting on rides. However I don't think they were at capacity. As of afternoon, only day reservations still not filled (checked for curiosity). Thursday, hot and humid. The thunderstorm probably hit there around 9:45.

As a ride experience, it was just enough, BG always was quality over quantity haha ... Plus I like the evening hours and a nicer drive than SFA, even though distance is same.

Nice view of Pantheon from Griffon, that reverse bank looks wicked.

I think the park needs to start putting team members in a highly visible part of each queue. It would only require about 6 or 7 additional staff members throughout the whole park, but it would seriously improve mask enforcement and social distancing. Queues, being so out-of-view of park staff and being so tightly packed with people, are the worst offenders when it comes to safety. When I visited Dorney in July, they had employees stationed in the queues for some of their more popular rides, and the queues felt much safer.

My guess is that it's something that would be not feasible until the capacity restriction is increased to 5000

Some of those queues are already tight stationing a staff member in them both takes up room and would increase the ruskbto that staff members as there really wouldn't be a place to but them with a barrier.

It's really hard for me to a get a grasp on how the principles of this event would scale up to the entire park being open. On the one hand, you're right that a higher capacity would potentially improve enforcement, but it would also worsen all of the various distancing/mask problems that have been observed over the past three weeks, and I'm not sure how I feel about that potential tradeoff.

I guess I'm sort of crossing my fingers for a bump up to something like 1500, such that they might get enough margin to up enforcement without simultaneously crowding the park. But I'll have to see how I feel about this when things are more spread out geographically starting Wednesday.

I think that it would improve enforcement because the park would have more employees working and would be more capable of staffing some of these areas where currently it's difficult for them to staff.

Curious though - how much of enforcement problems occur not because there isn't a staffer, but because enforcement is secondary to whatever the staffer's job is?

Not only this, but also just a general disinterest amongst staff to enforce said rules. The number of employees that just ignore any and all kinds of mask violations is staggering—more of those employees would have little to no benefit—and especially no where near enough to mitigate the added issues introduced by additional guests.

This is true but currently the park hasn't brought back the vast majority of their full time staff. So right now they are staffing the park almost entirely with low level part time members. I wouldn't expect them to be as concerned with mask enforcement.

However, I think that if the capacity was raised to 5000, then the park would bring back the majority of their full time staff and would run things closer to normal and the full time staff would do a better job with mask enforcement.

When I went on Friday I definitely saw some employees enforcing the rules. It easily more than I’ve seen my other 7 visits. I also believe that there will be tons more room for social distancing come Taste of Busch Gardens because more of the park is open.
