FYI for anyone coming from out of town who wants a room for the night, the local Holiday Inn (1.2m away) hasn't raised their prices yet to account for park opening. Still under $100/night. This is likely true for any other nearby hotels too.

Day ticket price is a little steep for 6 rides being open. At least at that price they could throw in a complimentary pint or small plate item.

If FB is to be believed they already sold out members day.

If FB is to be believed they already sold out members day.

That's just how the system shows days where there are no slots for a given reservation period: there is a separate reservation signup for Member Preview day that still says open, and the "Sold Out" message is also on the Wednesday/Thursday when you click on the 11-3pm slot which does not exist for those days.

There's also a note on the website that suggests we won't fully know if they're sold out until the dust settles:

If you are unable to make a reservation on your first attempt, please empty your cart by clicking remove on each item (your cart must be empty to proceed) and try again. While capacity is limited we are continuing to release Pass Member and Fun Card inventory.

If you go on the BGW site now, it looks like member preview is already sold out, along with a couple Thursday morning sessions.

England village will be used for entrance but nothing in England as far as food and merchandise will be open so they don’t list it as an open village.

That's a lot of money for 4 hours and such limited rides. Especially since I'd need a hotel too. But then I guess that's the point. Keep the crowds down and make some money.

See, my interpretation of that was that they would actually not be utilizing England at all, but instead actually relocating the entrance stiles of the park to the England parking lot, and entering through the space between Ireland and Wolf Haven.

You know in the back of my mind, i was wondering if they even could do two time periods to double capacity. But i didnt mention it because i didnt think they would or could actually do it. This is fantastic news that they are reopening!

It does look like Member Preview is officially sold out (the calendar defaults to July now), but there ARE no Thursday morning sessions, so there is not yet a normal reservation window that is sold out.

I'm curious what percentages of capacity they reserves for members/fun card users in this initial wave.

From what I saw when SeaWorld Orlando opened, if they see a wave of passholders making reservations, then they would take a away some from the ticket holder and fun card category to try to help out demand.

I have 2 passes on my account and the reservations i make are putting both of them under my barcode. Does this matter?

I think as long as they are two separate reservations, thats fine if they are the same barcode. I think they just want to be able to count how many people is going before the event actually happens.
