Thanks for posting your angle Todd! We were debating where to sit and ended up opting for the first row on the left instead of sitting right behind the reserved VIP seating. Glad everyone will be able to experience it from both angles now though. :)

Yup, I do. My video is uploading (and has been for a while now). Unfortunately I lost somewhere between 5 and 10 seconds of one of the songs so it's not perfect, but I think it came out fairly well overall.

These final two shows, especially the last one, felt a LOT like being at The Rocky Horror Picture Show with an amazing interactive audience. I am so glad I got to see them in person.

BTW, it is extremely difficult to eat a Bacon Wrapped Turkey Leg at finale shows like this while clapping and taking pictures. But perseverance & a little talent makes for success. :cool:

I totally missed the accordion player "trip" and fall dropping his boxes from my vantage point in the far front left. Awesome!!

So Scott won't go down without a fight. As punishment for doing a three American tapper show, he would not allow the cast to do "Giant Parting Glass". This is where ALL of the Irish dancers even the subs are in line near the end. They did this last year and is blocked specifically for the last show of the year. Way to show'em Scotty!

Yeah I think the performers, with all the additional improv and such, showed him, but I just had a feeling he'd not be too happy with the last few days of the show.

Do you know what he thought of the last show SDG? From the videos or talk at least?

Your dedication allowed me to fully enjoy a finale for the first time in years. Another reason I love this group!

Always a struggle, capture it forever and be distracted? Or, skip it and see the show only that one, fantastic, undistracted time?

GAH. What a child. It's not about him, it's about the performers for crying out loud. That would have been so very cool to see! But, this will only make people dislike him more. Looks like I will have to wait to follow my dream as a musician there until the tantrum child leaves...

The next show I'm working on is the 4pm show. For a number of performers, this one was the last in a particular role. This performance is a little more listenable as music than the final show, which was buried much of the time by crowd noise. After giving the sound track a scrub, I broke it into song sized bites, with fades at the beginning and end of the songs. This gives it more of a feel of a real soundtrack album. They also have paid them in the past...no surprise this was cut....3 tappers or not... That purple tapper is terrible...

They should have done it anyway. What are they going to do? Fyre them? (Sorry, couldn't resist.) But I'm still serious. Even more so if they aren't coming back by force or choice. They should have all been included.

(Let's see...this one doesn't go in at #26 of my list, either. I must put in it much higher.)
