If tonight's last two shows are any indication, tomorrow is going to be epic.
Firstly, man was it crowded today. The Disney concert line started at 10 am by the train tracks. The tour bus was right there in Aquitaine France loading in at the same time. Really? Nice. See Kitty's pics. At least it didn't glitter and light up, I guess.
The 1:30 CF show was totally full (flashlights all over the first 7 minutes of the show from staff seating people, booooo). The show was VERY shorthanded on cast. Josh was doing's Gabe's spot in Entwined and other singers and dancers were absent. A lot of adjustments to do the show and the cast did a great job. The crowd, not so much. Don't people know how to clap? Did I mention it was crowded? LOTS of good ad-lib in this one. Did I mention it was crowded?
Then, the 5:30 show had even MORE improv. When Scott went to do the dance using the stool, they gave him one where he couldn't touch the floor. FUNNY! Then Colin gave him one of the footstools. Scott tapped on that while sitting down. Actually it turned out more impressive doing it siting down. Then he did an improv for his solo. Hopefully, Frank will put video up somewhere. When it came to the American's making fun of the Irish, Vince sat on the stool and Adam got on his knees to be the footstool.
We grabbed ToddF and got right back in line with Frank and crew for the 7 show. We took most of the front bench but then made room for some cast from another show to sit with us. MAN, if this is any taste of what is to come. Sunday is going to be unbelievable. Too much to describe but the crowd and cast was electric. Josh ran around the crowd doing Finnegans Wake. Other hijinks ensued. Again, hoping the video makes it online.
What got us? Seeing Josh tear up on Parting Glass since it was his last show. There will be lots of that Sunday. My girls gave him a huge hug on the way out. Then out to chat with ToddF over some dessert.
Sorry about the mini trip report, but it was mostly about CF. So, we put it here.
Off to sleep so we can get out to Sunday's fun!
