I've also heard this may be the last season for it. I would like for them to change up shows like this every few years. Hopefully they don't go Entwined on this thing.

Ohhhhh I really started liking Celtic Fyre... Does anybody know the name of the piece at the end? It's the song that is entwined with The Parting Glass and is the Irish music they play on all the ad for BG in the park.

Oh, great news! Bring back a show like Irish Thunder or Emerald Beat -- essentially a Celtic music and Irish dance montage/review. My dream wish for the show would be to try to rebuild the bridge burned with the dance school in Ireland and get the kids from overseas again.

There was an artistic element and an ambience to those earlier productions that I personally have always felt was lacking from Celtic Fyre. It has always seemed to me to be a little too much like a play to be a song/dance review, and not enough like a play to be...well, a play.

Let's get a Riverdance back going in the Abbey Stone. That, or a true one-act show. No tweeners.

I might start a Fierce Battle here but hopefully they are making room for Entwined in the Abbystone.

oh no, oh no. How about entwined in sesame street FoF? Abbystone should have some irish dancing, and I hope they keep some of the irish pub songs.

I would be fine if Entwined moved to the Globe, but it would need to be redone to fit William Shakespeare's storytelling and not the Brothers Grimm. On that note, I really did enjoy Irish Thunder and Emerald Beat. I think they should have kept going with that. Even though there wasn't much of a story line, it was still impressive. I see those shows more like dance recitals than shows because of the lack of a story line. Even though I don't see them as shows they certainly did entertain and were probably some of the best performances in the park. Abbeystone always seems to have the really great shows, so I'm not too worried Celtic Fyre is leaving.

How in the world can you stop doing a GREAT show like Celtic Fyre and have a BAD show like Entwined still going on, yes Entwined is more for children, fine but have it in the Globe theater as Pirates 4D is awful, I dont know who makes these choices but come on and wake up, last show I went to on the 4th for Celtic Fyre the place was packed...

Remember, it's still just a rumor. With that said, I have heard it from a lot of different people in a lot of different places. I really do hope they're wrong.

In other news, I saw the last show last night and they were really into it. Best showing I've seen to date.

Pirates 4D is your typical cheesy theme park show, and believe it or not, it is popular with the general public.

Really? Every time I have been to it this year... on PACKED days the theatre is dang near empty. This is what... the 4th time that they have recycled the show? It's getting a bit pathetic at this point.

Every time I go, the globe is packed full and the entire audience laughs along and applauded greatly at the end of each show.

Then again, I've also never noticed tons of people walk out on Entwined or Fiends. Personally I think the Festhaus has a good chill atmosphere without a show and the show just makes it a bit awkward.

Stopped for the 9:45pm showing on the way out of the park last night - theater was pretty empty. Surprisingly, both my 14 and 16 year old kids kind of enjoyed the movie

Maybe people want to go home and not stay in the park later than its closing?

The last show of the day for Celtic Fyre is the most fun. The crowd really gets into it and the performers really feed off the crowd energy. On Monday, the crowds were really thin, but the 8:30 show was very full.

I can see BG changing some of the songs, but I think a full scale replacement would really backfire.

I don't believe the rumor has much merit given that they are soliciting dancer for the show next year. I do agree a revamp is possible.

The dancers they are looking for could be for a new show with similar dancing talents required.
