I’m confused, are there two different bottles? The green and purple ones prominently feature the bold “legacy” SF logo, while the orange and teal ones more subtly feature the new Cedar Fair-style SF corporate logo. Can’t tell if it’s all one design or not.
The bottoms of the cups say the legacy Six Flags parks on one and the legacy Cedar Fair parks on the other. They're separate cups.

Interesting. It certainly supports the notion that the new SF management team has no interest in injecting the Six Flags brand into the legacy Cedar Fair parks.
I believe the issues they have is that they haven’t solved what the food and beverage program will look like after 2025. It’s been already known that the food and beverage add ons would be kept separate between both legacy park groups.

There’s also likely a back end IT issue for merging both legacy systems together at this time. This, having two separate beverage problems for all of the parks.

From @FUNFoodBlog on X:

“Pay is being cut across the new Six Flags chain, with Cedar Point returning employees losing their legacy pay bonus from 2020.”

YIKES! Things took a pretty big hit last year, I couldn’t imagine it would get any worse.

Seems they knew this would kill staffing which may explain their downsizing of attractions across the chain. I think next we will see a big increase in annual pass prices.

There was a new marketing promotion for the Mardi Gras event at Fiesta and when they show the parade, you see a photo of Charlie Brown in one of the carts.

I didn’t expected them to go quick on IPs integration, but could we see Peanuts get introduced at the Six Flags parks? View attachment 35930
These are actually Cedar Fair Carnivale costumes being used too! Integration is swift! Also, I saw a video somewhere of Tweety Bird dancing to the Carnivale parade stop track. Unsure of where I saw it though, or I’d link it.

Can’t remember that well, but looks to be one of the floats we used here in KD too. Super cool to see that tbh

Sorry for the double post, but this makes me also wonder if we’ll see Looney Tunes at the legacy Cedar Fair parks? Didn’t expect this to happen so quickly.

Six Flags implies trashy parks. Which seems to be the direction that all parks will take with all of the focus on cost cutting. They can remove the Six Flags name but they aren’t going to be able to disguise the degradation the parks.

I’ve been thinking. Since there’s a obvious chain-wide cost-cutting movement this year…What if corporate waived a blank demolition check for this year only and parks could opt in to get rid of older rides that were going to be on the chopping block eventually. They clearly allocated a big budget for demolition this year. We know Great Adventure fought for Kingda Ka, but maybe the Anaconda or Nighthawk decisions were made at the park level.

Hopefully we can find out more at the ACE event coming up at KD.

Anaconda was deffiently mandated by corporate without a heads up given to the park. They already had spent cash beginning it's winter maintenance when the mandate came down.

All indications I've heard is that this is also correct. It does beg the question though, why have the demo's and cost cutting (full-time positions, and staff wages) come only to Great Adventure, Cedar Point, Carowinds, Six Flags Over Texas, and Kings Dominion. Part of the answer lies in the fact that half of these demo's we know about only from the discovery of official permits, and haven't had official announcements at all. However, I thought by this point in February we might have uncovered almost every park in the chain saying goodbye to something.

Of the 5 parks listed, Kings Dominion has the smallest immediate population pull, and yet I want to hold onto hope that it's part of the Grimm Reaper's path because the chain might give it positive investment in the future, similar to the other large 4 currently impacted. After all, the Batwings, Mr. Freeze's, Vipers, Invertigos, Flashes, etc. of the chain are still alive and well (for all we know). Time will tell when opening days start (or when park maps/apps for the season are updated) and people visit parks for the first time, only to find some rides permanently closed or missing completely, but for now, this is all we have confirmed.

I just have a hard time seeing KD having their hand forced to abandon Anaconda when Batwing is allowed to stay standing at a park that definitely has less upside to its investment. Maybe I'm just being too hopeful, that we were eventually gain something positive from this.

It wouldn’t surprise me at all to see SFA get sold to some kind of developer before it ever receives significant investment.

Unless they close the park for a year and renovate/market a completely new named themed park, I think SFA will find it very difficult to re cooperate a lot of its lost fan fare.

SFA is likely on one of the most valuable pieces of land that a park could stand on.

Keep the water park (the only profitable part of that park) and sell the rest of the land off. Kind of run it like Water Country.

SFA is my closest park and I like most of the coasters there. If it got changed into only a water park I'd be pretty sad. But I do think that's likely, or at least, the most likely outcome if something is going to be kept from it. I hope, but doubt, that if the dry park goes poof, that Wild One can be saved, at least, and moved/sold to another park.
