Reading this since it was posted, and am going to echo my favorites that I've spotted, along with a little reasoning for the want, and maybe the benefit for the park (in my eyes).

Pass member entrance(s). It could even be a reward for the employees, as pass members are likely to be more ready to enter the park and make for an easier shift. It would be the 'cake' duty of the day. Obviously the Pass Membership benefit is a quicker moving line. This could be for cars as well as people. Separate park entrance or just separate lanes, it would be a major win, IMO.

PM Lounge. Wow, wouldn't that be nice. Free soda or not (see below), some air conditioning/heat, a quick charge on the phone, and the opportunity to talk to someone about Wine on the Rhine tonight at 7 pm would be be great. Have a few department heads walk through randomly throughout each day and touch tables to get a pulse on what's going right. Almost instant feedback from those that understand the difference between a bad employee and a bad day, would be able to affect customer service pretty quickly. And for me to give team member Suzy a compliment without waiting in the line at customer service in England at the end of the day...
Throw those used-up coaster wheels on the wall for art.
Another idea here - thinking of adding a new menu item? We know it's already been decided, but have samples of that new boat of fries, juniper fudge, chicken croquet in the lounge for a week, get more feedback for serving size vs purchase price. Display the serving, but sample with a bite-sized piece for the flavor profiling. Provides the pass member lounge as another opportunity to talk to management.

Hard plastic member cards. My first [day] pass has Nessie on it. I upgraded that afternoon to an annual pass. A year or two later we left our passes at home (five hours away) and had reprints done. The green background and coaster tree is the only card now, so I've kept the Nessie card in front - kind of a badge of honor? If there was the ability to get a plastic card for $5, my choice of 5/7/10 designs (only available to pass members, of course), I would buy one. No questions asked. Coaster cards and hamlet lanyards? A Griffon card on an Ireland lanyard will be around my neck. I don't need to advertise that I've been a member for 52 years, and I certainly don't want every ride attendant to be expected to thank me for that. Please, check to make sure my lap bar is correctly engaged, and ignore my pass.

I like the idea of a cupless drink plan. Admittedly we typically drink beer and tap water, but there are times I want a ginger ale (looking at you, Alpie and Verbolten) or a Coke. I don't want the souvenir cup/anchor, especially since I won't end up using it on 10 of my 12 visits in 2018. But when I really want that ginger ale, I see that $3.29 price and wince. Sure, $7.58 for two sodas is less than $25 for an annual cupless 'cup', but I'll spend the $25 for the convenience of not carrying around the anchor when I'm pretty sure I won't need/want it.

Early/Late access days more than twice a season. It's already been mentioned about offering limited access to the park (only open Pompeii, but 30 minutes before general public gets in on Saturday morning). Universal Orlando was opening only the Harry Potter world, an hour or two early (daily) for a long time. Staff just made sure no one wandered off the path as they walked to the very back of the park. Yes, there's a definite labor cost associated with guarding property through to Griffon or Alpengeist, but...

Annual dining plan. Tampa does it...

Reward items like a free pretzel after you've purchased ten at Beste Brezeln would be inexpensive and easy to track via the card being scanned for the discount. Even if I can't use it the day I get my tenth pretzel due to databases needing to synchronize or the data mining to be completed, I'll have it tomorrow.

I've tried to not make entries that seem like money-grabs (sure, I'd _love_ to get an unlimited HOS QQ for every visit I make during the event), but things that add value without adding a ton of cost. I realize that as a pass member I become a consumer - potentially using more park than my admission fee covers. That said, we have two steins in the Festhaus; we spend a full day in the park for two or three consecutive days per visit, so we eat at least one big meal (usually two) plus snacks each day; we suck up souvenirs like Christmas ornaments, t-shirts, etc. There's a fair bit of profit in each of those individual items, even with our discount. I don't think pass members need to have the world thrown at us, we're a pretty loyal bunch. Heck, I am not sure we SHOULD get anything that every other guest doesn't also get. But, being a member makes me feel special. When the parks treat me as someone that _is_ a little more special (along with the other 100,000 pass members), it makes me weak in the knees.

A huge thank you to the park for making this forum a part of this discussion. It's great to see the park continue to be interested in what its fans have to say, and hopefully implement some of the ideas for everyone to benefit. There are many great ideas in this thread, these are the ones that I feel would benefit my family more directly, or are more reasonable for the park to implement. I also understand that we may not see more than one or two implemented in 2018/2019. That's OK, we're all marathoners here - I think.

I like the idea of a members lounge and a early ride times. The pass holder entrence at KD has always been a big perk in my oppion and I would love to see BGW do something similar. Another idea would be a member only preview and taste test for food and wine. Maybe include a meet the chef thing if the do the the chef demonstrations again.

The only way I would be happy to get a quick queue is if they removed the exit access on Apollo for example. Row 2 is the last place I want to be. If Apollo made a barrier in the middle of the queue, and had QQ on one side and normal ride access on the other I would be perfectly fine. There’s plenty of space on both sides for it to happen. In its current state, it’s not worth the money in my opinion. If you get one free one every season than you know. It might be worth it.

1. 1 quick queue to use any one day of the year.

2. 1 free photo.

3. 1 Discount on a food and wine sampler card.

4. Locker discount at WCUSA.

5. 1 Small ice cream voucher at WCUSA.

6. 5 game vouchers

7. Welcome gift per season (lanyard? Poncho? Stuffed animal? Keychain?)

8. Hard card for a ticket.

Off topic:
Would be nice to see some more contemporary music added for concert events. That big pavillion looks mighty lonely.

Also, bring back Splashus Maximus. Lol.

For concerts, allow members to acquire their ticket in advance online, rather than having to get to the park early and stand in line at guest services. This could also lead to a special reserved seating area for members. By allowing tickets to be acquired in advance, BG would know how many special seats to reserve. The limit would be one ticket per member.

Something less of a 'perk' and more just 'available' to members that I personally think would be really nice, and a great way for the park to further it's conservation and wild life efforts:

Take the area between Ireland and France, re-pave with bricks, and allow members to 'buy' sponsorship for the conservation area by having 3 different size bricks at three prices. The fee goes towards a brick, some conservation efforts, and to support the parks own programs. Hopefully that little boost would be able to bring back a few things, or at least prevent the loss of anything else.

I love any idea that supports their conservation program! It has really upset me to watch the zoological exhibits being closed one by one: a large reason I visit the park has seeped away. The loss of the Wild Reserve was particularly sad.

Before I dive into some ideas that have been in mind for the years I just wanted to thank all of the PFN Admins who made this happen along with the BGW marketing team for being so approachable and honest to it's fan base. This type of interaction is unheard of and it really makes me happy to be apart of this community to see something like this happen.

Being a Platinum Pass Member since 2002 I've visited Busch Gardens Williamsburg countless time and have also had the opportunity to visit all of the other major SEAS properties. Something that has always stuck with me upon leaving BGW every visit is feeling like I'm more than just a number and more so a guest and I firmly believe this is partially because of the way Passholders are treated. However, I have had the opportunity at other SEAS parks and other chains seen some phenomenal perks that I would love to see implemented into the current system. Keep in mind I am just throwing out ideas that have come to my mind and I understand logistically some of these may not work out.

Re-Rides on select Major Attractions
One of my favorite benefits with my Platinum Pass is re-rides on various coasters at Busch Gardens Tampa and SeaWorld Orlando. After going once, the guest whips out their pass and shows it to the ride op and are allowed to stay on for a second ride. This could easily fit into the current operating system at BGW and be offered on most coasters and major attractions minus newer coasters like InvadR. This perk is extremely beneficial as it allows the top tier of passes to be able to ride again without having to queue again. I feel that this would be an excellent addition to the Premier Membership.

Single Rider Lines for Passholders
Up until the mid 2000's several coasters featured single rider lines. However, most single rider lines now sit unused or have been retrofitted into Quick Queue lines. Opening these back up for Unlimited Members and Premier Memberships could be a beneficial move from an operations standpoint and a guest satisfaction standpoint. For example, Apollo's Chariot still has it's single rider vacant with no current use. Why not install a scanner or some other form of identification and allow the top two tiers of membership to use this? Now empty seats are filled and guests who are fine with riding by themselves have a shorter wait.

Now this will be challenging on certain rides that have retro-fitted their single rider line into a quick queue line such as Griffon. I feel an alternative for rides like this could be possibly make the quick-queue line have two purposes now being used as Quick Queue along with single rider or even possibly the exit could be used.

Quick Queue after 5 for Premier Memberships
Universal Studios Orlando has offered Express on all attractions with Universal Express after 4pm for years with the highest tier of pass. Now rather than flashing a quick queue guests would show their membership card after whatever the set time and be allowed to enter. I chose five as as just a placeholder time knowing park hours will fluctuate anywhere from a 6pm close to a 12am close.

Maybe this could be done that on select days during the slow season for the last two hours of the day this is open for Premier Memberships. This would allow passholders to have time to make purchases or grab dinner rather than wait in line. Now this is probably my most crazy idea, on the contrary I believe this could really bump up the amount of people this option.

Membership Lounge
My absolute favorite benefit with my Platinum Pass is the Passholder Lounge at SeaWorld Orlando. It allows me to relax in an air conditioned environment with a free drink as an escape from the hectic day. Offering this in a currently unused space in the park would be a tremendous benefit. I could see this working in Annie's, Castle O'Sullivan, possibly even the backstage space of the Royal Palace Theatere if it wasn't being used for shows.

Exclusives Membership Opportunities
This is a very broad idea that could be viewed in many ways. Down at WDW, Annual Passholders during the Epcot Flower & Garden Festival received three free exclusive prints (one for each visit) with Disney characters themed to the event. This promoted visiting multiple times to complete the set. Something like this during special events would be a neat incentive to visit more. On a side note, offering small exclusive attractions/events would be a wondrous treat.

Imagine on select nights of Howl-O-Scream a membership only Rhine River cruise where ghost stories are told. Or maybe on a select night a behind the scenes of Verbolten where for 30 minutes guests can ride into the Black Forest with the lights on. Small additions like these would definitely drive in the already loyal passholder base.

Thanks for reading into some of my ideas!

I love the creativity and enthusiasm of the ideas in this thread! While I don't have any new ideas to add, I wanted to add my vote for those that would be most valuable to me (in case number of votes helps to make them happen).

One of my favorite ideas is the member lounge. Not only would it be a nice break area for myself and my husband, but it would also be wonderful for older members like my parents, who still enjoy spending the entire day at the park but need to take more frequent rests than they used to.

Although I would love some sort of quick queue perk, I wonder how feasible this would be from the park's perspective. If quick queue revenue is pure profit for the park (not sure if it is recognized this way or not - just speculating), the potential opportunity cost to the park might make free quick queue passes unlikely.

For me, the most valuable perks would be those that make me feel more like an "insider," such as meetings with park executives (so I could learn how quick queue revenue is recognized and that sort of thing), behind-the-scenes experiences, and lights-on rides. Member-only events would also be great, such as the Rhine River cruise with ghost stories mentioned above. Additional experiences such as these would add value to my membership by making me feel like a part of the BGW family in a way that receiving additional discounts or rewards never could!

I like that concert idea of online ticketing in advance, and also a ton of other great ideas in here, I cannot echo them all so here are some of them and some personal ones.

1) Love the lounge idea, just don't take away Brauhaus!! If merch is being sold there, definitely Exclusive Member Enamel Pins.

2) Anything Brauhaus or Beer Related (that can be redeemed for a dessert/pretzel or something for non-drinkers or under 21 members)

3) Also mentioned, limited merch runs, this would be pretty cool, especially enamel pins. References to old rides, etc

4) Punch cards or Ride Photos or QQ would be sweet!

5) Extra member nights

What if the park was to do something during January-March during the off season? Maybe something along the lines of a small taste of the new additions to the park before they're released publicly in addition to other tastes of the "park experience" like showing off animals. They could use the tram to get people to the Festhaus and have food and other merch available for purchase to make up for the operating costs.

I see this as an opportunity to keep the idea of the park in the minds of guests during the off season and it would be a great way to hand out news to members before anyone else.

I love the off-season idea. Keeping the park in the minds of guests and generating additional revenue by opening the Festhaus would be a win for everyone. To expand on that idea, maybe offering some sort of tour so that guests can see what goes into maintaining the park during off-season and preparing it for reopening? Maybe that's a bit on the overly-nerdy side, but I would love it.

Love this idea!

We heard back from Marketing, and they appreciate our suggestions so far. They also said that they are interested in any additional, innovative ideas we might have. So, there is still time to share all of your (reasonable) concepts for Membership perks.

Maybe they can open a greenhouse/nursery and sell plants, offer gardening classes/workshops for a nominal fee??  How about a culinary camp/classes for inspiring young chefs? Just a thought...

Nicole, did they give any indication what they found useful or what they might try to implement? Or perhaps, did they say if they would tell you if they did decide to implement one of our suggestions?
