My guess is they are talking about the employee entrance that Platinum members can drive through but who knows. That whole group tries to act like they have all this insider knowledge that they just don't have. And if they aren't careful they will get some TMs into trouble with their "info"Don't know if this belongs here but what does everyone think this is and where in regards to the secret/special entrance?

Agreed. I'm in that group and all I could think when I read that was "Can y'all not?" I'd prefer that that remain relatively unknown so it doesn't get taken away.My guess is they are talking about the employee entrance that Platinum members can drive through but who knows. They posted today that they will have a video on this entrance coming tomorrow, so I was correct. I agree though if there are too many members attempting to use it they might do away with it eventually.Agreed. I'm in that group and all I could think when I read that was "Can y'all not?" I've been there before when it's at least 10-15 cars waiting at the employee entrance so there's definitely the potential, IMO.I doubt they would take that away unless so many members tried to enter that way that it clogged up the employee entrance to pre-I-64 entrance traffic levels.
Anyone know how they would get in back when that was the main entrance and would get backed up? Use that service road on the south border of the park that connects to the back of the park? That entrance is the emergency access for that portion of the park, if it happens that it’s backed up and what ever emergency vehicles have a slow time getting through things will change.
The park doesn't keep an ambulance at first aid. They have park vehicles but no outside vehicles.Which is why they usually park an ambulance at first aid. They can get started immediately and I'm sure if it required more than that, security and parking would try to make a path before the other vehicles get there, but I honestly have no idea how fast the response time is for the park for outside first responders, so there may not be enough time to clear a lane before they get there. There is not an actual ambulance parked at First Aid (Heath Services). Those are Busch medic units that are not equipped to transport someone to the hospital. Actual ambulances have to come from James City or sometimes York or Williamsburg Fire Departments.Which is why they usually park an ambulance at first aid. See above post. I know that they park does have white vans with red lights on them to transport first aid and guests around the park, that is not what I am talking about. There is not an actual ambulance parked at First Aid (Heath Services). I’ve seen one of those vehicles parked outside on Apollo’s with its lights on. It looks more like an EMS vehicle with “Busch Gardens First Aid” Slapped on the side. I think I might have a photo of it.See above post. Makes sense now. Thank youHealth Services (the official name) has 3 vehicles. Two are newer Explorers and one older vehicle as a standby they move to the far side (away from the HS building) at start of business each day. They have night bars. There are no JCC paramedic vehicles "parked" onsite unless called.
Depending on the location of the incident (and traffic) JCC emergency vehicles will either use the toll plaza (for England & Italy) and the employee entrance for the remainder of the park. If the toll plaza is backed up, they use the employee entrance for all areas. Security Dispatch advises them which access point to use (they have CCTV).
On extremely busy days (or when a large number of busses area expected) the TMs use the far right lane to access BOH with security checking at a booth near the park ops building. The normal TM booth is manned by Traffic TMs until (usually) mid afternoon when Security returns to man that location.
As I mentioned above, during busy times, the current employee booth is staffed by a Traffic (Ops) TMs. Security checks TMs at another booth (blue route and X). Occasionally both lanes are open, with buses on left (purple) and cars on right (red)I think it's funny that an advertised perk is a "secret". And it's also funny how they could just staff the current employee booth full time with an ops TM and have security at the booth further back. OR use both booths that are at the entrance.
