Yea that makes sense Nicole. Most time companies will remove the pictures and or comments to get it out of sight out of mind.

I wonder if he would care to explain what Halloween really is about. Besides, Scarlett doesn't/didn't have it all that great. She was buried in her own house, and will be finished with after the event is over. Maybe instead he could talk about "evil powers" having their limits instead of outright calling Busch Gardens "Satanists".

All in all, the park just needs to remove that stuff from their page, and send the complainers cookie-cutter private messages in hopes of calming the situation. Does anyone else agree that the park needs more monitoring of their Facebook page?

Busch Gardens is getting sassy!

I was reading through BGW's FB pages answering questions about CT tickets and came across an interesting discussion.

First, for context, the comments are in response to this video:

Here is what people said.  I honestly don't know if this guy is kidding.

People will find any reason and I do mean ANY reason to whine and complain or threaten not to renew their AP or not come to the park. #SlowEyeRoll

Anyone wanna post the latest accidental email scandal? I'm on mobile. People are on the Facebook page declaring a boycott and demanding reimbursement for time spent on the phone.

I'm honestly confused as to why people are upset. Although, I find it interesting that the order ID numbers are different for each email, as I got two and they were different. My guess is someone in IT was messing with a system and accidently sent out what was suppose to be a test email to the park's marketing list. One does have to wonder though, if this could just be someone trying to stick it to SWP&E for the recently announced layoffs in whatever minor way they could...just food for thought.

Busch Gardens: Errant emails were glitch

Emails with details about reservations to Busch Gardens theme park in Williamsburg, Va., were sent in error Tuesday to people who had never made reservations.

"Let us assure you that your personal information was not compromised as part of this email," a follow-up email from the park read.

Busch Gardens is one of the attractions owned by Orlando-based SeaWorld Parks and Entertainment.

The emails were a glitch in a mailing list for a marketing campaign, SeaWorld Parks spokeswoman Aimee Jeansonne Becka said Wednesday.

"It was not a data breach; this was a marketing campaign," she said. "It was frustrating and confusing, but that was it."

SeaWorld, for competitive reasons, would not say how many of the emails were sent.

"Not everyone got one," she said. "It was kind of a cross section of people who have signed up for email or had visited our parks and given us their email address."

Jose Castillo of Orlando said he received six separate emails about the reservations overnight. Some of them stated that he was arriving on dates in 2015, while others had blank reservation dates blank.

"I've never been to Williamsburg in my life, so that was kind of a surprise," he said.

Castillo, who has annual passes to sister attractions Busch Gardens Tampa and SeaWorld Orlando, said he received the final email Wednesday morning.

"I've worked in enough fields with billing systems and mailing lists to know that errors happen," he said. "I trust them."

David Caffey, who moved from Tampa to Memphis last month, said he was confused by two emails from the Virginia park.

"I thought it was some promotional thing for trying to get people in Tampa to go to Williamsburg, which I thought was a bad idea ... but whatever," he said.

Caffey, an annual passholder for Busch Gardens in Tampa, said he had experienced no unusual charges on his accounts.

"It's always initially shocking, but when you let it soak in for a second, it's not that big of a deal," Caffey said.
