I don't know, but I'll be sure to ask the pastor next time he dresses up as a BG zombie. LOL!!

yes, reading the BG facebook page comments is sometimes entertaining.

RE: BGW's Facebook Page

Are any rides open for Christmastown?

No it's just going to be a bunch of lights and shows with the park's main attractions, the rides, just sitting their empty and alone....This is 90 percent of the non-photo posts on FB right now.

RE: BGW's Facebook Page

People were flipping out over not getting on the CT ticket deal today. I hope some of you guys were able to get through.

RE: BGW's Facebook Page

There is no winning with these major online deals. Their website is just not built to handle the kind of capacity that they get when they offered these deals. This is the same things that happened with the $5 Twickets from the past two years. The only difference was they took Twitter out of the equation and the tickets aren't as cheap as $5.
Great deals, but bad website. Perhaps they need to get a better website? And Zach's post, oh my gosh, the park does learn. Maybe not all the time, and maybe not quickly but they do eventually. I think they are getting better with the concerts :p

Its amusing how people say they can get in all year at Tampa with their pass and forget about the extra charge for HOS and CT down there OR they think a promo code could solve all the issues. I honestly don't see how a code would work better. If you are still getting tons of people doing the same thing at once, the site is going to get overloaded no matter which method you choose.

Ladies and Gentlemen, we have a winner.

"The place looked great last night...other than the (still wet) painted "snow" base around the giant Festhaus Christmas Tree that ruined about $200 worth of our clothes. ..."

Am I missing something? What exactly do you guys find so outrageous about someone complaining that their clothes were ruined by wet paint at a place of business? Seems like a pretty legit complaint to me.

RE: BGW's Facebook Page

In the late afternoon I don't recall seeing a rope but there were at least 2 employees running around trying to keep people off of it. Then the second time I came back through there was a rope wrapped around guarding the tree. But when has that ever stopped anyone?
The comment just struck me as funny. ;)

RE: BGW's Facebook Page

Is it possible that the rope and employees were stationed AFTER people started getting paint on their clothes? Anyway, I just think this is a pretty silly thing to mock someone about (after making assumptions that may not be based on facts).

Re: BGW's Facebook Page

There was a rope around it when I saw it in addition to people who have jumped said rope to sit on the tree. I got there and saw the rope so I figured it was up all day.

However, to assume that the park never had any warnings or deterents of the offending paint seems a bit much. I have seen plenty of wet paint signs at the park in the past.

RE: BGW's Facebook Page

Why can't the park just add more benches around the tree. Even though it is a 7 minute show, add a few benches around the tree so people will sit on those instead of things they shouldn't be sitting on. I think they probably had a few wet paint signs that people neglected, and then as the night went on they reinforced their warning with team members and then a rope. What could have fixed the problem is one of those temporary fences like the ones they use to block people from going in the Festhaus, with plenty o' wet paint signs. There was gray area and as the GP tends to do, they assume they can do whatever they want because they paid to get in. The park just needs to make things clearer. :p

RE: BGW's Facebook Page

What could fix the problem is not painting stuff at the last minute when you know people are gonna be sitting there/posing for pictures in between shows (it happens a lot during summer and I'm sure it's happened during past CT events). If not, a few wet paint signs here and there are usually enough to deter most people.

Oh and it's pretty uncomfortable to be sitting down and craning your neck upward to see the show, so benches aren't a good idea unless you stick them in the middle of the path.
