The marketing seems like it's more and more tying DarKoaster to Mardi Gras lately. The rewards on the website have a lot of DarKoaster themed items for all of Mardi Gras now. One has to think it's going to be available at some point during the Mardi Gras event.
Highly doubt the Mardi Gras event, the earliest I can imagine it being open is in March.

I'd say from Feb-April are all reasonable months to open the coaster as far as "luring people in the gates" goes. We honestly have no historical data to rely on when it comes to the potential attendance ceilings in February as opposed to March/April due to it being such new territory for them. I probably would've pushed for a Feb opening for that very reason since they already have data points on crowd influxes due to attractions in March/April, would be nice to get a data point for the future to see if there is an even better time of the year to open a ride for crowd influx. Though with the parameters to open a ride in Feb already being rather limited (i.e. too cold to open a big coaster which draws the most people anyway), maybe they just said screw it and decided to run their small money scheme of Mardi Gras with DK ads conjoined to bait additional gullible people in without promising the ride.

Just a little max/min perspective since $ is what drives these decisions anyways. My bet is either early March or mid April, well before the spring break rush or right after it, assuming they haven't been pushing the schedule left enough to meet a Feb opening.

On one of the teaser Instagram and Facebook posts, BGW responded that “they are seeing green💚” so I’m wondering if St. Patrick’s Day weekend (which is also coincidentally the weekend leading into the first day of Spring) is slated to be opening weekend.

Unfortunately, the time between now and opening day is just like the beginning of this project. There is no way of knowing what is going on inside the building without either the park releasing stuff, or someone leaking stuff. I'm sure the park knows what time they think will draw the most guests and are pushing the crews to complete it by then. Without any additional information, anything anyone has is pure speculation.

We already know that the full track is complete and trains are on-site. What else would need to be installed? Theming? Station?

I know the station is still being worked on along with quite a bit of electrical work and theming work. The station looks good. It's mostly the same as DarKastle's station platform but now there are steps up to the new station platform to fit the new track on the old slab. A significant portion of the queue seems fairly unchanged thus far.

They have reposted. Based on the dates, should we anticipate ride previews the following weekend?

Some interesting things I noticed, what is going that weird thing, and it seems like they are keeping the frozen over idea 973AC0A9-3D21-4B2F-86A1-95B2F7797B2E.jpeg
