I think the blame with some of these marketing blunders isn't on marketing all that much. Hideaway was a project that was super delayed and kept getting pushed back that it was hard to start a marketing campaign until you knew when it was actually opening, which I heard they basically started to open as soon as the contractor actually finished, so there was little time for marketing to do much to hype it up. I think there's a similar issue with HOS, from what I've heard there was a significant delay because there was a lot of discussions about what they could reasonably staff and have operating that delayed the announcement.
Honestly this is a really good point - I can't help but wonder if construction uncertainty is leading to more hesitance within the marketing department (or higher up the chain) to announce/tease projects. Now Pantheon of course was announced prior to the pandemic, but look at how they kept pushing back the opening date - I can't imagine that was good PR, not to mention maybe even cost overruns with ad campaigns.

Labor and materials shortages along with massive price escalations have wreaked havoc on the construction industry, so I can't imagine the park feeling great about announcing attractions they're not sure themselves will get done even close to on-time. Shoot, maybe they're being forced to shift money from the marketing budget on the projects to cover construction increases. I don't agree with the lack of teases/advertisement and I'm sure there's much more to it, but I'm just trying to make some sense of it.

I would buy that in many cases but not DarKoaster. Everything I have heard points to a construction timeline that was always completion on tine for a possible winter opening. With a time line like that they should have been plenty comfortable with a opening in 23 announcement.

They are behind the fence at the backside of the building. Saw them while on train ride. About 99% on seeing wheels on pallet not covered completely by black tarp.
I can confirm that there are pallets that are big enough to possibly be trains back there but they were covered and partially blocked yesterday and I have no way of knowing their contents. There is also significant Howl-o-scream prep in that area so that can't be ruled out.

Edit best shot I could get I don't see anything that screams trains but it's possible.

They are not the trains, but they might be something else for the ride.

Honestly, though I think they are meant for HOS

Makes sense for the Pantheon Burger to show up at BWI of all places.
