When do you think this will be officially announced? I'm hoping sometime around late September-early October to fit in with the spooky theme of DarKastle/Koaster, but I could see the park reveal it as late as November or December. Anyway, I'm probably getting ahead of myself.

I'd be shocked if they waited until after Howl-O-Scream started to announce it. If you ask me, they've already waited a little later than they should have. HOS and CMT already sell passes. They need exciting news to sell passes on right now. First to ride privileges on DarKoaster should be that thing.

Ill be so pissed if it's a spinning coaster. Purely because the park will see that as a checkbox adding to the experience and will almost guarantee little care towards intense theming to make the two circuits somehow different from each other.

I also don't like spinning.

Honestly, I love the idea of spinning coaster. It's a great intermediate thrill ride for someone ready for more thrills but not ready for inversions.

LaffTrak is an absolute hoot of a ride FWIW. It's not big or fast, but it's so much fun.

I like the idea of a spinning coaster as well but only for one lap as stated above. Multiple laps around anything other than a kiddie coaster doesn't make much sense to me unless there's a new feature to experience. I genuinely hope there is onboard audio more than anything. I hope there's more theming than that but I'm not getting my hopes up.

I thought this was supposed to be a motorbike style coaster

All signs so far have pointed to it being one. Plans show Intamin Family Launch Coaster trains, the ride was shipped as "Amusement Ride Straddle Family Launch Coaster BGW," the station is designed for trains with an odd number of rows with large gaps between each, etc. We can't rule out something weird until we see trains, but it would be a pretty big surprise if these things spin.
