This is a very cool project. I remember Dark Kastle and was happy I got a chance to do the haunted maze during Howl-O-Scream. Now, if I'm correct, the event building is 6,000 square feet? Please correct me if I'm wrong. Is that the equivalent or smaller than Verbolten's event building? Is there even enough space to add a thrilling ride? From what rumors have said, it is going to be an indoor family coaster? Or is there enough opportunity to make it just as thrilling as Verbolten?

Do you think it will keep the buvarian castle theme or will it undergo an entire revamp? There is so much to speculate when it comes to this.

This seems pretty cool. Based on the top speed, it appears as if they are sticking with the family theme. If the theme is cool, I'm sure it will be a pleasing experience. The Bavarian castle I'm sure is staying; but what additional themes could they attribute? I enjoy the curse theme, but I just feel it could have been a bit more immversive. Since we have a coaster, could there be a dragon that breaths fire?

Sure, there could be a dragon, it will function for the first year and then we'll be lucky to have it light up like Disco Yeti at animal kingdom.

I would hope whatever they are doing with "theming" they are thinking about long term maintenance.

Well if it's a roller coaster in a box at least it'll be fun......

I liked Wave Breaker but it does have the whole "gliding along the water" thing going for it.

Based on the ride video? Does the ride go around the course, two times? Also, there seems to be a lot of space for higher elements. But would that te away from the family theme?

I personally wouldn't be disappointed if they simply did s black track and turned off as much of the lights as they can safely do.

Here's my idea. I like the Bavarian Medieval theme for castle. The question is; what elements are thrilling that we haven't already experienced with Cruse of Dark Kastle. It's fair to say that most of the scenery in Dark Kastle were the screens. At the time, BGW was not going to spend Universal Studios money to immerse riders in a Harry Potter experience. 11 years later, we are in the year 2022. What will make us ride this?

If the story involves another character that has cursed the castle, it may resemble the original story too much. But who's to say that the guest themselves haven't caused their own doom by entering the castle. Here is where the theme starts to take shape. It is a popular in fairy tale mythos to blame modern day curiosity, for the disturbance of a sacred place. So in this scenario; the Bavarian castle was never meant to be disturbed by visitors. Maybe it held a dark secret or force that was meant to be kept inside. By entering, we have offset the balance.

So what's inside this dark place? Do we tease a fire breathing dragon? Or could we tap the mythos of dark elves?

That is the games warehouse, which is also kind of a main entertainment storage venue. It is entertainment material. They are not organized at all. They leave junk all over the park. DarKoaster is being staged either at the maintenance building behind Caribou or in the Festhaus parking lot across from that games warehouse.
There is currently Intamin track stored right next to them. So unless you believe Kevin's story that they are for Howl-O-Scream they are using that area for DarKoaster staging.
