I have tons of 2011 Christmas Town maps and probably Howl-o-Scream and before Illuminights maps. I will do some searching.

I think I'll let you guys do the scans then as they are quite over sized and I have no idea how to use Photoshop or Gimp let alone stitch photos together.

Sorry, forgot to keep up with this. I have thrown out all my 2011 maps, thought I would never need them I guess.

Why would you throw out your maps? I think I have saved every map from the park. Even if its torn I will still save it. I even save the parking receipts.

I always pick up a map as I leave the park. I have one from every visit filed away along with the hanger they give you when you get preferred parking. Maybe they will be valuable someday.

Sorry, I had a ton of clutter and needed to clear out as much as I can. This season I will for sure get one every day and save them. Just to post them here :p

I used to grab just one or two maps from the parks I'd visit, but they'd get worn and ripped from me carrying them around all day. So eventually I decided to grab stacks of them on the way out. (Plus grabbing stacks of maps means you have a lot left over for trades ;))

I still have a stash of regular season and Illuminights maps. I may have an extra HOS map lying around somewhere too. Unfortunately anything before that I didn't get in a trade within the past few years (since 2009) is gone :(

Just think with everyone saving the park map. I may be seeing one of you on PBS's Antiques Roadshow with your collection of park maps:).

Or Pawn Stars :p

These maps may be worth someting in the future to a park/roller coaster collector. I collect a lot of amusement park stuff, but I can see myself paying much even for a reallly old BG map.

How about one from opening day?

I would absolutely love to own that! I do understand they can be valuable one day, but nothing can be more valuable from a park than anything from the first season it is open, especially a park map, and other things that go along with it.

I personally am most interested in prices and hours as they change over time.

BTW, I can probably get my hands on a couple more of those. The person I bought it from had 3 or 4 of them. I paid $40. If you're interested, PM me and I'll try to hook you up.

Sweet, I would love to get one, I just have to wait for my tax refunds to come within the next week or two.

I decided to throw in a few pictures of my collection earlier today. I've got around 200 brochures/maps (mostly from trades and requests from parks). Most of them are from the past three years. I've got plenty of other stuff I'm willing to trade.

^^ Pretty awesome collection. Something that I saw interesting was the Phantasia Land things.

EDIT: Do you think if I sent an e-mail to the park requesting older brochures/maps they would give them to me with no problem?

I doubt parks still have older maps/brochures still in stock. Most of the time, they're thrown out/recycled after the season ends unless they're reused for the next season. The SoCal/Central Florida parks should still be using the 2011 brochures/maps until around March/April, but that's about it.

I'd love to get older stuff though. I only have a handful of pre-2009 stuff.

The Phantasialand/Europa Park stuff were from requests. A lot of the other foreign stuff came from a TPR Bag O Crap I got last October.

EDIT: I noticed my BGW/other BGT maps went missing from the photos. Oh well. Most significant thing out of that stack was a 2011 BGT map and a 2007 Dollywood one.

Well just like the old photos they posted for "Throwback Thursday" on their blog, I am sure they have their own collection of older things.

You'd have to contact the owner directly for something like that though. The marketing department won't send old, dated maps to you (unfortunately).

The park keeps old ride posters and pictures hanging all over break rooms and back areas. It would be cool to nab one or two of those.
