I personally was glad to see they were not honoring those.....if they were let in it would have been the biggest slap in the face to “members” ever.
Completely agree, I was so happy to see them holding some ground.
They were even holding their ground against Friends & Family passes last night. Sorta impressive honestly.
Not an excuse for BGW, but the only thing I can think of is that they didn’t update the POS systems to give the discount yet.
Only reason I said that, I’ve been a F&B manager and forgot to update a discount before. It’s challenging mid shift to change it.

Thats what the manager at Festhaus told me, they didnt have time because the new passes were just anounced on Tuesday. We I consider that BS. They did update something because my pass now scans and says Platinum but I am a Premier Member so they updated something. Also, it only takes a few minutes to make that change. Even the park told me today that it has now been corrected so it was done sometime overnight....if they did fix it and not just blowing smoke. I will see later today.
It’s quite a lot to change quickly. See later today, but if it’s only an issue on the first night of the new system it’s kinda excusable to make a mistake.
To me it’s not, they should have been prepared to implement those changes if not do not announce them as “starting today”. They could have stated “starting later this month” or something then if they starting getting the higher discount earlier so be it.
I’m willing to give a little break because we don’t know 100% what happened. Could have been something missed with all the back end changes that needed to be made. Maybe the people that make the changes were caugh off guard. Maybe with so many different passes/memberships they just simply missed a benefit.

Hi - how do you get to the employee gate? I think I did it when I was a member about 10 years ago but haven't been back to area since and do not remember. Daughter is now stationed in area (military) so joined under the 'old' 2018 membership plan at $22 premier level (and she has the military annual pass for 2018).
Also if you want to park in the France preferred lot do you just go into the right lane at end of the road vs. left? I have never entered through France, only England lot or the disability parking.
Is the 15% working for everyone? Since the SWSA passes have 20% working I was curious if the 15% was working for the BGW passes.
I logged into the membership portal on the park's website today and my supposedly grandfathered Premier Membership is listed as "BGW/WCW 2P1Y EZPay Premier Membership" on my account.
I'm sure there won't be any problems when non-Williamburg parks see that I'm trying to get into their properties with a BGW/WCUSA 2-Park pass. ?

You might need a letter from BGW that is notarized just to gain access to the other parks. Going to be a Fluster-Cluck
