My past visits at busch my premium membership has gotten me into a sort of VIP preferred. Is this a new type of parking?

Yeah, the England preferred lot has VIP spots towards the front of the lot. I'm not sure about France on higher attendance days but I doubt it.

Pretty sure it was new this season or towards the end of last.

Premier Memberships get you free preferred parking. On many days that means parking in the England Lot. In fact, Premier Members generally can enter through the employee gate.

It does not, however, give you access to the reserved VIP spaces in the England Lot.

And no, this isn’t new. Platinum Passes came with the same unofficial perk.

Alright maybe I'm the only one complaining about this, but in the last two and a half weeks I've gotten 16 marketing emails from BG, 12 of which have been solely center around joining the new membership. It's almost a joke like the commercials on TV, call in the next 5 minutes and pay separate shipping and you'll get this brand new toaster.. It's become a little much to be honest.

I'm getting emails about EVERY park in their chain. ?

Same but I was only trying to paint the picture of BG and their marketing efforts. Its really aggressive. I don't mind the emails on whats going on and news stuff, I like to be informed. Just the aggressiveness on selling of the new memberships are annoying.

@Luke, @Nicole, and I got our lanyards today at WCUSA. We went to guest services and they printed out a ticket-like-thing which we then had to take over to the main gift shop. Redemption went off without a hitch—it was just an odd process.

As for the lanyard, I actually love the design. It's always surprisingly hard to find merch with the actual, real logos for attractions and this lanyard basically has all of them.

Is the Lanyard a different design at WCUSA vs BGW?

Just FYI you can also print your own redemption ticket/voucher for things like the lanyard at the automatic ticketing kiosks. On the home screen there's an option for "member rewards" or similar - touch that option - scan your pass when prompted - and it prints the voucher. The lines at guest services can be so long and/or slow. :)

What? Ride to MIDNIGHT and not be restricted to ONE ride in ONE area? Now THAT is a reward.

Sigh. They should be able to do that at BGW. HOWEVER, at this point I'd be happy if the bloomin' park was just open til 11 pm on Friday and Sunday nights (as well as Sat) in the height of the season. The daily hours are much too short to me. Then we'd be in a position to enjoy extra ride time til midnight -- that would be sweet.

I'd be happy to get "rewarded" any from my driving distance. Rewards that are so strictly time dated make them exclusive rather inclusive. New, improved, or more perks that we never get have not been worth the extra I pay for the new membership. And I mean "rewards" specific to the new membership. Not the 10% discount, parking, and other old perks we already had. Something above and beyond those old perks should be available ALL the time for the price increase.
