My other concern is really based on timing and history. I have never used my pass anywhere except for the two parks in Williamsburg, but we have a trip to Florida planned over spring break. Given the timing of their corporate pass conversion process, what are the chances that our passes will actually  work without explanation at BG Tampa and Seaworld Orlando?

I've been using my BGW Platinum Pass every year for 17 years at the Florida SEAS Parks (most recently in November and January) and I've never had an issue with it at any of the gates.  Now do have your ID ready once you approach the parking and main gates as they will most likely ask to see it to confirm your identity on the pass.

I have no doubt that they have worked in the past. I am more concerned with the current state, the ongoing conversion has potential to complicate things. Hopefully the Florida parks will be in the loop.

My experience the past few months is that there are no problems as long as your membership is activated and has been previously used prior to visiting the FL parks. If that's your case, I have had no issues with that situation over the past several visits.

Called this morning with a question about account stuff (they charged me on the wrong day) and there was a 45 minute wait time. I got the call back option. They called while I was busy at work.

Called back at 3. The call back option wasn’t available anymore and the wait is 180 minutes.

Slightly absurd. That option should kick in when the wait time hits a certain point. If they think the office will close before they get to you (that’s what happened last night) then you should be on a list for first thing next morning call or just have that as a recorded message. Sorry a little perturbed. I’m not going to wait almost 3 hours on hold. I guess I’ll just call first thing in the morning.

Called this morning again right at 8:00 am (right when the site says is the earliest you can call). There was already a 30 minute wait time. Again got the offer for a call back.

For fun I hung on the line. I was cleaning so the music motivated me.

Then I grabbed my landline (yes I keep one) about 15 minutes in and called. The wait was now 50-60 minutes and no callback was offered.

I'm blown away at how bad this system can be if you aren't one of the first people to call.

Exclusive Member tshirts will be on sale on Sneak Peek Day.

Well, I'll be honest. That's disappointing. Don't exactly want that pasted across my back. Still a nice thing to offer though.

I have a soccer game next to the park at 12 so I'm gonna be a bit late. Do you think they will run out of shirts by then?

I won't get to the park till 1:30Pm

So since other people have been sharing their stories:

Last month I want to upgrade from my 1 park pass ($12 a month) to the top level membership. All was cool. Or so I thought.

I went online yesterday to make sure my pass was ready to go by tomorrow and I wouldn't have any hangups, and that's when I found the problems.

They put me under basic membership, not the level I requested to be changed to. They changed my billing date from the 21st of each month, to the 6th of each month. They cancelled my pass, without a credit; and started a membership on the day I called, rather than just upgrading the pass.

When I called today about it, I was told to fix that it would require the cancellation of that membership and starting a new membership. And because I want my payment date to be on the 21st, they wouldn't start the new membership until the 21st, meaning I wouldn't be able to attend the preview day tomorrow.

On top of that, my new year of EZPay would start in March, not when my EZPay previously started, hence the slight annoyance at lack of credit.

So in the end, I'm stuck on basic membership until I can get to the park soon after the 21st to take care of it in person, and I haven't gotten a credit or refund for my November-February payments (I originally started my pass in November for renewals). I'm a little peeved today since I thought everything was good.

PS TBH I rather just start my new year of paying now and have $48 of credit to the new payments since the pass really couldn't be used in that time.

theres a hidden link on the member login page that lets you change your billing date under the ezpay section

I know about it. But it’s giving me a tough time upgrading the membership.

Actually, we just got that fixed.  We protested and he checked, and said he had been confused.

You can't really blame the front line employees, given that there are two entirely different systems now.

So is the idea that going forward, Premier can use the employee entrance and park in England? The sign at the regular toll plaza made me think that the employee telling me that only Platinum passes could use that entrance and park in England was correct. The sign said that VIP parking, which I interpret as England, is an extra $5 for Premier members.

We have been ensured repeatedly now that Premier members will be able to use the employee gate and park in the England lot when available for free. If the park plans to roll back that decision, we will have some choice words with them.

As for the sign, if anyone has a picture of it, I'd love to get a look at it.

Does anyone know when premier members will have access to their free guest passes and how? I logged into the passholder site today and it shows discounted tickets but no mention of the free ones. Thanks!

Here you go. It's a bit blurry...sorry about that.

We were told that the first free guest pass would populate to our accounts on opening day.

I believe the VIP parking is that roped-off area in the England lot.  Unless something has changed, Premier/Platinum should be able to use the employee entrance and park in the England lot in any space not in that roped-off area.  Paying for VIP guarantees that you will have a spot in England; whereas normal Preferred is first come/first served.

That sign was very confusing on Saturday, they are going to have many questions at the toll booth.

I knew all along this would be how it worked, but it should be advertised as such all along. It kinda sucks that if you have a couple friends come visit you and you get 3 tickets a year that you can only get one in free. Would have been nice if premier followed unlimited for the 2 tickets and then the 3rd was season wide. It really does not affect me though as I have never used a free one in the past.
