I can't believe there's nothing out yet, unless i just haven't gotten to that area yet. I can't see how it's fully set up for opening week.

A couple more questions about ride shares (Uber/Lyft). How convenient of a drop off and pick up is it for Uber? Also, as someone who lived almost their entire life in NY and who mostly vacations at themeparks in Florida where Ubers are falling from the sky, how difficult is it to get a timely Uber in the Williamsburg area? Thanks in advance for any info!
I highly recommend that if you are getting a ride share set the pickup and drop off point for the public bus stop on Route 60 by the employee entrance. It's a bit of a hike but still a fairly easy walk and many ride share drivers don't want to do in lot drop offs do to the time that can be lost sitting in toll plaza back ups. I don't use Uber often and have never personally used it to the park but the couple of times I have used it in Williamsburg it's been fairly easy to get a ride.

THANK YOU! Very helpful info!

Also the event page is already up, houses have been announced, the reaper is outside the park advertising HOS… it’s definitely not a secret.

I can comform that props are staged backstage and that starting tonight there is a whole crew working over night from park close to early morning rolling them out over the next two week.

We are very surprised so little hos decorations have been installed they still got a long ways to go now until september 8th we really hope they get everything done in time. But looking back at this time last year more than ¾ of everything was done. Including lighting.

Apologies in advance for the questions I'm going to throw out below. I've been going to HHN Orlando for 20 years so I'm using my understanding of that event to try to understand the add on options for Howl O Scream and I'm sure that's a bad idea, but just an idea where my assumptions come from.

Howl O Scream All Access Tour:
A 5 hour tour that does all the houses, has a meal, and has reservations for the shows.

Does this mean you do each house ONCE and then the shows and that takes 5 hours? Or is it a thing were you have your tour guide for 5 hours and the group decides what they want to do most during that time, or is it a scheduled thing with a set schedule to hit each house and show during that timeframe?

Approximately how many people per tour group?

This tour doesn't sound like it includes any front of line access to any rides, correct?

If there's time left after the tour, does your tour ticket count as an express for the rest of the night?

Behind the Scenes Tour:
Says $30 to see one house in a new light (I assume that means lights on) with "a beverage" and get a voucher for an express ticket for one house for the event.

How does this work? They randomly select a house for that date, you get some kind of beverage for while you do the tour, and then you get some kind of voucher to go through, presumably, the same house that night?

What's with the beverage and about how long is this tour?

Thanks for any info!

We did the Behind the Scenes Tour last year, so I'll speak to that. I would definitely recommend others take this tour.
We got a behind the scene/lights on tour of Killarney Diner, a beverage of our choice, and a quick queue for Killarney Diner to be used that evening. If I remember correctly, the tour took about an hour provided great details on how they set the houses up, why certain things are the way they are, and even seeing everything that still remains from the queue area of the attractions that used to be in there. (I should post those pictures sometime.) When you check in for the tour they ask what your preference of drink is, which you receive at the end of the tour, you can choose between several non-alcoholic or alcoholic options. The tour was a lot of fun and was really cool to see all of the little details and learn a little more about how things work and why.

Icing on the cake for our tour last year - being served a beverage at the counter in Killarney Diner.
