Must have pulled that out of the hat and said "Alright that's what we got". Wow. Anacondas don't even live in Africa, but that's problem #31 in a long list of more important problems about this.
Have you attend the event past 1999? It has never been in theme, and asking for it to be in theme is ridiculous. They’ve had houses based on demons, ghosts, clowns and other things. I don’t think an anaconda house is gonna ruin anything

It's ridiculous to reach for an IP that has a very small current cultural relevancy. It's even more ridiculous when you realize they could have done a nice original based on the big snake that actually lives in Africa: the python. So we have an animal based IP at an animal based park, but the animal in question doesn't live on the continent the park, in which the house will be, is themed to. That's pretty odd to me.

probably got a good deal on it, since they got that IP for SeaWorlds...

Since there’s no way United is going to invest the proper puppets/animatronics for this, I’m guessing the scares are going to be people coming out screaming, “ITS A SNAKE!”
Construction abd design are actually part of the deal and not being done by United Park staff

And BGW

Really interesting thoughts from Scott Swenson on BGT's entry into the HOS IP game:

Very glad to hear him comment on using a real animal as an antagonist for a HOS house. It feels completely antithetical to the very basis of Busch Gardens Tampa as a park. He described it as nails on a chalkboard for someone who does business with a lot of zoos and I have to say that I completely and totally agree. This feels wrong.

His most significant concern seems to be where is the cash for this IP grab coming from and, in turn, how will this outlay eat into the budget for the rest of the event?

I am excited for the scare zone Breadcrumbs to Nowhere - Once Upon A Time mainly because I think it has more potential in its new location as opposed to its old location in the park.

House looks like it could be solid enough. They clearly spent big on puppets which is nice to see.

That being said, I don't see anything particularly sophisticated here (outside of the puppets), many of the boo holes look highly restrictive and will likely constrain the performance a lot, and the house designers committed one of the absolute worst house flow sins of putting the airbags at the end of the house. Get ready for stacking.

I'll of course withhold final judgement til I experience it first hand, but my initial impressions are mixed.

Note: The standard for BGT is a lot higher than the average park out there. This level of quality would look jaw-dropping at a park like BGW, but BGT has historically set the bar much, much higher than the average park during Halloween.
