I have never been to a concert at BGW. I won VIP seats to last years Skynrd concert and still did not go. To me, not having concerts makes absolutely no difference to my park experience. I Agree that they benefit the park by boosting attendance, but to me, they only create 'days to avoid the park'. When DMB, TOOL, Primus, Pixies, Trent Reznor, Bad Religion or Florence and the Machine show up, I will have my first BGW concert experience. So yeah, I'll never be attending one :)

If The Pixies ever start playing venues where funnel cakes are sold, just shoot me.

Good. Can't stand concerts in theme parks. Put a quality show in RPT instead.

It always seemed silly to me to have this grand venue sit empty all but a few days a year.

Though, there will be an event at RPT on May 15 this year.

Wow, just wow. I didn't go to many, and I didn't like all the acts, but with BG Tampa having a lot of shows/ pretty big acts this summer, this is a dissapointment.

Which is..............?

Every year my daughter's school orchestra competes in a competition in Williamsburg. In the morning, they go to a few local high schools where they are judged, then spend the day at Busch Gardens. In the afternoon, the orchestras and choruses get together at the RPT for the awards ceremony.

This does not make BGW look good when Busch Gardens Tampa and Sea World had  major bands this year for their Food and Wine Festival and BBQ Fest.

Take it with a grain of salt, but it would appear that the money for BGW's concerts was sent to Tampa to shore up their offerings. Purely conjecture though.

so the next on-screen-melt-down-for-our-puriant-interests Disney chick?

What magic sauce do they feed these girls that turns them into... complete disasters?

^Off topic but, I would say their breakdowns steam more from trying to break away from the child-friendly Disney mold, that people come to expect of them. Rather than Disney itself. So its more the audience/viewers fault for complaining that they changed, than a shitty TV channel.
