At least they did a little to the thatch roofs, since full-on repair looks unlikely.

While they may have gone to far in some spots I think over all its a bit if an improvement. I know it's hard to compare winter to spring pics in the landscaping area but the winter ones looked kind of over grown and in kept while the current feel is more understated and let's the buildings stick out more. But that is just my 2 cents for what it's worth.

I agree - let's see what it looks like in the spring.  But there were times last year where I did feel like things had gotten a wee bit too overgrown... especially around Grogran's Grill O'Tator's.

That's not true, you have the option of clearing the added Quick Queue before purchasing the all day locker.

Don’t know if this is the right place to say this, but busch is forcefully charging people for a 6 dollar quick queue if you buy an all day transferable locker. I just had to go to guest services to get my money back. This is blatantly disgusting. In past years they were only 5, and you had an option to continue without buying one, but now they’re 10 and you’re forced to spend an extra 6. Absolutely disgusting.

I feel its important to point out that this appears to be some sort of fluke error I have used them several times this year without having this issue.

It has not worked in the past 2 weeks and they just keep the doors propped open. No ventilation. Horrible smell. Bad show.

Oh goodness, and right in front of Pigs in a Kilt (when it's open)?

Also, just a question/observation/suggestion really, but why isn't there an overhang or at least fans or something at guest relations just inside the turnstiles? People who are likely already upset or coming to complain about something are standing in line and also in the heat and (depending on time of day) direct sunlight. Maybe just put in a nice awning that covers the entire queue? Maybe make these people a little less cranky before they talk to staff members?

Just something I've always wondered.

So technically I guess this is a kind of wall paper, but it is actually closer to a vinyl wrap. As stagecraft and senic art have become increasingly expensive and complex more and more of it is shopped out.

In a case like this, when they want to minimize down time and or avoid conflict with other trades, the set designer would send his rendering out to a third party, and they would print and install this kind of background.
It looks cleaner and I suppose more finished, but to me it lacks the warmth of something hand painted. When I paint I spend hours mixing and developing layers. But that is the problem. the time and labor.

As a senic artist and set designer, this does discourage me, but it is the state of the art.
