As I have noted elsewhere, BGW has a very hard time finding enough staff, before schools are out for the Summer.

Has always been like this going all the way back into the 90s when had I first started there. Hence the reason why the schedule was designed for Fri - Sun for the first and later parts of the season and late spring when the schools and colleges begin letting out go full-time.

However what I have noticed since the handover from AB-BEC to SEAS is the reduction in use of international workforce that was a staple during AB-BEC. While SEAS does continue the use to supplement there is a clear reduction in this use comparatively speaking from when it was formerly owned by AB-BEC which helped prop up the park staffing during the first and later parts when many of the school and college student left for the season and/or reduced their schedules.

On a lighter note, one of the fountains in Il Teatro di San Marco was seriously overflowing a few weeks ago.

The entire ground is covered in about 3 inches of water here.

Yup and after that the fountain was set too high. The water was shooting up like old faithful.

Fountains seem not to be leaking/over flowing as much today.

I'm going to stand under it every day until it falls on me so I can sue them.

Still broken. Seems like an easy fix?

Ha, the fountain that I saw overflowing was on the left side of the theater when facing the stage. I had no idea the other fountain is overflowing too!

My understanding is that both the cost and hassle of getting international staff have gone up considerably since the hand over. I am not sure that its fair to assume that AB would doing the same today as they did then.

Have there been changes in international staffing, I haven't noticed a difference. What is a clear reduction exactly? Do you have specifics; referring to acrossdapark's post.
