Not sure if this is the right forum or not but here goes.
Sourses from inside the park stated that starting season 2014 all the parks seasonal employees will be limited to working a max of 6 months starting with there orientation class and then will have to take off a min of 6 months before they can start work with them again. So an employee with an orientation date of February 15 will only be allowed to work till August 14th. With the park having a hard enough time filling the large seasonal work force as it i. I can see the quality of service falling further then it has now. This measure and the cutting if part time works hours is a move by the part to avoid health care law requirements.

That has been brought up in two? other threads I think. But my final words stand as such. I was told that Vice President of Human Resources, John Harris said specifically the 6 months does not have to be consecutive and you can break it up. With that said, take for what it's worth I am not playing source versus source. I know what I was told and I am sticking to it.

The capstone on one of the ramparts of LNM's station is missing.

In area front of the Pirate Baargh could use a good pressure wash. You can tell where the building from the food & wine fest stood.

I guess this can go here. Last night, the entirety of Festa was without ice all evening. Now I am not one to nitpick every little thing, but this prevented me from enjoying my ice cold Barq's that I regularly get as I ride the train and get off to take a break. Order of events...

- Roman Freeze, get my root beer...
TM: "no ice sir."

- Take my warm cup of root beer up to the Coke shop...
TM: "no ice sir."
Me: What is going on?
TM: "The ice machine is broken sir."
Me: There is only one ice machine in Festa?

- I rush to the Pirate Buffet in hopes of getting a few frozen cubes to cool my Barq's.
TM: "All out of ice here too sir."
Me: WTF!! (&^&(6adjkgh&%9-0!!!

-Get back on train with my warm root beer. :(

So, with thousands of people purchasing drinks and whatnot, where is this ONE ice machine that apparently supplies all of Festa? I would dearly like to kick it. Plus, is there no contingency plan for such an occasion? How hard is it to get in a cart and get some ice over here? $h!utz!! CK not happy. Not happy at all. Grumpy w/o my cold Barq's.

Actually, they were out of ice Saturday night too, when we were there at around 10pm. I got the feeling they had been out for a while, because the cashier was saying that her throat was sore from telling people that they were out of ice. My bottle of water was perfect.

I wonder if they budgeted ice thinking about October weather, vice the July heat we had this past weekend? I would imagine they didn't expect quite so many refills of cold drinks.

There is an ice machine inside of Roman Frieze, a separate ice machine at the Coke shop, and a separate ie machine at La Cucina/Pirate Buffet.

The only reason all three could potentially be broken is if maintenance is not going to fix them as they break. There are only 2 or 3 maintenance team members specifically for culinary locations for the entire park. I am not sure how they address things as urgent, but if they are busy elsewhere, I can understand. Or perhaps certain parts have broken in the machines that require ordering to be done and the parts won't arrive until a later date.

I'm sorry, but this has to be mentioned, and I know it is a really long shot. Currently in another thread we're talking about how all the UTILITIES are painted in Festa, and isn't Water a utility? During this time could they have possibly have been testing the water for future plans? I know there is probably another reason, but I'm just saying....
