I miss the days of Quality over thrills. Going to BGW was like going to a thrilling version of a Disney Park. Awesome shows like Imaginique and Starlight Orchestra, plus amazing theming in attractions. The loss of the "Preshow" in Darkcastle bothers me alot. When the doors closed, everyone was quiet and you could hear the story. Now that the queue keeps moving, the loud people dont even pay attention to it. Every attraction in Ireland was interlaced together when it first opened. Now, there is food with Elmo and a non Irish Europe ride. Griffon at least played the theme music in the queue when it first opened. It is a shame that the speakers in the outdoor queue dont play any music ever. It was the story and theming quality that have started to fade in the past 3 years. Hopefully that reverses soon and we see more shows and storylines, and theming. But we have Mach Tower to look forward to.... A regular drop tower that has no theming at all. Hopefully the new coaster in 2012 has a theme.
