That would make sense as that store is OK size but not all that big so capacity would have to be limited.

Due to the size of the space, I wonder if they would have to enforce a drink maximum or a time limit to try and make this work. Similar to what I believe they were doing in the Cantina at Galaxy's Edge?

For what it is worth, “Bob” is a nickname for “Robert,” which is German. While it is typically an English diminutive, it isn’t entirely non-German. Referring to Robert:

”This name means “bright fame, shining glory”. The name derives from the Old High German name “Hrōdebert”, composed of two elements: “*hrōþiz” (praise, fame, glory, renown, honour) and “*berhtaz” (light, bright, clear, shining one).”

That’s great and all but we shouldn’t need a linguistics plaque to make the name work. Just use his last name or a common, most likely corny German name, if we go by Busch gardens standards

BGW has used signage to explain any number of attractions and locations. And if the bar is that nothing should have a name that doesn’t require an explanation, then they will need to rename half of the park. It is the nature of theming that not everyone will understand the references without doing some kind of research.

Regardless, it hardly seems like something to worry about, before we know the actual name. Additionally, if it is a speakeasy, the name of the bar shouldn’t be on the storefront, anyway.

Just for reference for those not familiar with BGW history this is who it's believed to be a tribute to and why the name is fitting in that location.

Though I may have seen him as a kid, it'd be awesome to see what his performance was like

FYI:

Bob's bar is in an advanced stage of inspections.

The new HVAC has been installed, and all that appears to be left is the ducting in the mechanical room.

They've also had a number of inspections for plumbing.

They're definitely at least a few weeks out from being ready to open.

I think from what I could see peaking through the door Crack last week that they are probably further out then that. I am thinking at least June before it opens if something hasn't drastically changed. But I will be sure to update on my weekly Thursday spin through the park tomorrow.

Not to point out the obvious here, but June _is_ "a few weeks away"... :)
