Still while they did mention her and her cause, the biggest thing they focused on was the decal of Bart Simpson that was on the bumper on her car. So that could be good news haha.

Yea people just don't care about Blackfish. It had its 15 minutes and now on its way out. Had that car ran a year or six months ago it may be a different story.

It wouldn't have been a different story six months ago. NASCAR fans aren't exactly the biggest PETA supporters since many of them are hunters and PETA doesn't support that kind of stuff.

That is an outstanding stereotype. NASCAR fans in '14 vary all over the political board. Certain tracks may have people heavy slanted to one side or the other. Romney was not handing out Hot Dogs at the Richmond Fall '12 race because people loved him there so much. He needed their votes and he did not get them. Yes, it would have been a story.

It was only an ARCA series race, too. Nothing on the scope of say a Nascar Truck Series race or an Indycar race. The viewership count for an ARCA race is much, much, much smaller than any other national racing series even if it's broadcast on the same channel as a larger series. Don't forget that it was also broadcast on a channel that requires people to pay extra in order to view it, and the viewer-base gets even smaller. All the racing series in North America have been reporting record low numbers on TV, NASCAR Sprint Cup included, so something like this wouldn't even register as a blip on the radar. If it was a Nascar Sprint Cup race or an Indycar race, I'd be a little more worried about the impact but the biggest story this weekend from racing was Dogecoin sponsoring Josh Wise's car. Much racing, such draft, many passing.

I actually encountered a person who was Blackfisher at BGT who had a thick southern accent, so take that as you will.

So, all Southerners like NASCAR?

It was a joke.

People were debating NASCAR fans and you made a comment about Southerners. I made the obvious, illogical leap.
