RE: SeaWorld Concert Series Lineup Shrinking Due to 'Blackfish'

Its been said that some of Justin Bieber's fans cut themselves but he still does what he wants and they still keep loving him.

Probably a poor example?

And that JB fans want his spit in their hair... Eww...

Anyway, if an actual celebrity that could make their own decisions performed at SeaWorld, we wouldn't have these problems!

Yea, we can't really blame the ones who are making the decisions. Great logic.

They'd make their fan base a lot more happy if they actually performed for them. Their fans don't care if they play at SeaWorld, they just want to see them perform no matter where it is, period.

RE: SeaWorld Concert Series Lineup Shrinking Due to 'Blackfish'

Not if their fan base is a bunch of idiots who hate SeaWorld, Matt.

And Dwight, what do you mean it's not their fault? They f-ing make their own decisions and apparently they're really shtty decisions because a few fans whined and got their way.

RE: SeaWorld Concert Series Lineup Shrinking Due to 'Blackfish'

Make an Anti-Blackfish Facebook page? The trolls would attack it though...

How about SW makes their own documentary about how they do care?
I wish they would do that.

Blame the idiot public that believe anything that appears to be well put together. Look at what happened a year ago last month.

The drama continues... -_- (From Orlando United)

Breaking news: singer of "I Love Rock 'n' Roll" issues cease and desist to SWO for using the song during Shamu Rocks.

It seems all the oldie singers are hating SeaWorld... With the exception of Ariana Grande...

RE: SeaWorld Concert Series Lineup Shrinking Due to 'Blackfish'

Idiotic, atrociously stupid, gullible, CNN praisers, biased, lazy, crazy, mean people. Is there anymore to be said?

I think that Page might need to be created if SeaWorld is just going stay there playing dead like possums. We can take care of the trolls, it's called the delete and report button.

RE: SeaWorld Concert Series Lineup Shrinking Due to 'Blackfish'

Sea World won't be crushed by a knee jerk reaction to a poorly made documentary. The parks are still getting some serious publicity over this whole situation. Positive or not, it's still publicity regardless.

Attacking the trolls doesn't seem like a good idea either. It only makes us look bad and it gives them unnecessary attention.

- The public is gonna forget this whole situation in a years time anyway. It didn't take that long for people to forget Supersize Me.

Time heals all things. Some things just take longer than others.

RE: SeaWorld Concert Series Lineup Shrinking Due to 'Blackfish'

The Problem with Supersize Me is that it didn't gain as much momentum as Blackfish, and the internet wasnt as popular then either. Plus there isn't a SeaWorld on every corner like McDonalds. Also McDonalds indirectly gave in by making their menu choices "healthier" too. :dodgy: This is stressing me out.

Also, this won't go away with PETA around with their stock share.

Yea, right.

I'm sure that SeaWorld will make it out of this, but my major concern is, what major changes will it be forced to make before this craziness stops, and how much will it effect the magic of SeaWorld?

I do agree with PR, remember super size me? Remember the big MacDonald's and fast food controversy?

pretty sure they're still making money :p

1. PETA holds enough stock in the company to have a say. They don't have much power in management decisions.
2. The Internet was pretty big back when Supersize Me came out. Not only that but ALL fast food pretty much came under serious scrutiny afterwards. Mickey D's had to give in anyway. Their food is terrible for you.
3. People will forget all about this eventually. Sea World will continue being Sea World. PETA will continue trying to draw attention to it's worthless cause. The sooner we ignore their antics the faser we can get over this.

PETA only has enough stock to sit in a meeting and listen. They have little to no control over anything. Just like other stock holders they can suggest things to do and whatnot, but everyone there is only there to make money except for PETA.

This is the one time where American greed triumphs the evil of PETA.

Here we go again...

Trisha Yearwood canceled her scheduled appearance for BBQ at Sea World. It's said she hasn't seen Blackfish, however, she wants to distance herself from the controversy.

Pathetic.
