When did the Bistro close, and what's there now?

I believe it just failed to ever open last year, and nothing has replaced it.

I never got the chance to eat there. I was really looking forward to it.

It was a southern all your can eat buffet thing. It was later converted to a full service restaurant. It didn't do great and closed. Since then it's only used as a food and wine festival booth.

This restaurant wasn't bad, but they simply took menu items from elsewhere in the park and served it on a plate. It could have been great if they made the food exclusive to Bistro 205.

That was what made the equivalent restaurant so great at KD.

The "205" was a reference to Griffon's height.

I stumbled on a 1975 park review (I'll post the full article in "History" - this location was originally "Le Coq D'Or". It served "French fried chicken" and wine by the glass or bottle. "Wine is available in a plastic glass (65 cents) or by the bottle ($3.75 to $5.75)." (Ah..those 1975 prices)
