It was a southern all your can eat buffet thing. It was later converted to a full service restaurant. It didn't do great and closed. Since then it's only used as a food and wine festival booth.

I stumbled on a 1975 park review (I'll post the full article in "History" - this location was originally "Le Coq D'Or". It served "French fried chicken" and wine by the glass or bottle. "Wine is available in a plastic glass (65 cents) or by the bottle ($3.75 to $5.75)." (Ah..those 1975 prices)
