Hmm, I figured you had to get the whole meal at once == so are you saying, snel987, that you could get your entree at one place and your dessert at another (as long as it's a big restaurant, not just any food stand)? Like, I could get a smokehouse sampler at trapper's but wait and have dessert later at festhaus, for example?

Even if I had to go to designated restaurants, being able to break up the credits for the day sounds nice.

Yes, it actually works a lot like the food and wine sampler 10 or 15 item plans when you check out. You will have an entree entitlement, side/dessert entitlement, and drink entitlement added to your account each day (they don't accumulate, so the most of each you will have is one). When you check out you will use either an entree, side/dessert, or drink entitlement for each item. Last night i got some fried pickles (side) from trappers and then a mongolian combo and drink from marco polos.

The bottom of your receipt will let you know how many of each entitlement you have left.

I purchased the plan myself, and I absolutely love it! I can either pig out with everything all at once, or I can pick and choose. I think it's a fantastic deal, especially for those of us who live close enough to the park to enjoy the food more often.

A problem they appear to be having is that once the dining plan is added to your pass, they currently have to toggle a specific key to subtract the normal 10% discount from other food purchases. In many cases, this isn't done; watch your extraneous food and beverage totals.

Yes, this was a huge problem for me on Friday night. I went to guest services to get this fixed, however, they told me I had to communicate with the cashiers to ensure that I received my 10%. The cashiers can apply the 10% manually. I found that most of the cashiers aren't aware of the issue and would argue with me or just flat out tell me that I can't get my 10%. On multiple occasions I forced them to get their supervisor. Guest services was very gracious and apologetic. Hopefully, this will get worked out in the next few days.

I bought an entree without a dessert/side a few days ago. Since I forgot the side, would it still be on my pass as an entitlement for another day?

I was told the entitlements are only for that day. It's a use it or lose it program. You can't save all your desserts and then redeem them all on one day. Each day the programs resets and you start anew.

This may also be the reason the 10% discount doesn't apply correctly since I also had not redeemed my dessert on that day.
