Yeah, I zoomed in on the photo and couldn't tell... And that may not have anything to do with why he was there in the first place

Here's a detail I learned today that I never appreciated while Berserker was "alive": apparently the word berserker means "an ancient Norse warrior who fought in a wild frenzy." I always just thought the ride's name was just derived from the word berserk, but turns out it was probably a double entendre referring to both the Viking boat itself and the ride's ability to drive riders "berserk." (Obviously, the words share the same etymology.) Plus, the Scandinavian name tied into the European theme of International Street. Am I the only one who never knew this?

As a sucker for clever wordplay in attraction names, I'm hearing the words of the great Joni Mitchell this morning: "Don't it always seem to go, that you don't know what you got 'til it's gone..."

Did anybody else accidentally learn how to make berserker flip unlimited times on accident? Park and mechanics were not happy with me that day lol

It was probably good that I never got to operate it, I already saw 470 too much at Volcano. I did figure out how to get Avalanche/Reptilian and Scrambler/Arachnidia to run non stop though.

What, just keep the station brakes open on the bobsled and put something on top of the button on the board for the scrambler to keep rotating?

Scrambler-Aside from the obvious act of adjusting the timer, if you keep "Cycle Start" and "Run" depressed it will continuously run until you release either of them. You can also start a new cycle while it's still spinning from the last cycle.

Avalanche-Little more complex and requires cooperation from the Unload Operator. Basically you'd dispatch the train at the same time you bring the train into park.

Parking those trains is such a pain! Learning how to do it AND teaching someone how to 😅
