Aside from the Alpengeist's cobra roll, which might be the most intense element between the two coasters, I find the Batman clones way more intense. Batman is a much shorter ride, but it still manages to cram in a bunch of elements, and they come at you fast. The zero-G roll can cause severe head banging if you're not ready for it, which I don't experience that much of on Alpengeist personally. Since there's so much less track on Batman, you don't have to worry about the extremely abrupt and painful midcourse brakes that you get on Alpengeist. For what it's worth, Alpengeist, despite its flaws, is one of my favorite inverts, and I'd put a few others like Afterburn and Talon over any of the Batclones.
Unpopular opinion, the Batman clone's are some of the best B&M's out there. They should go back to relentless pacing like this.

It looks like Batman is open again with refurbished trains (3:50) and renewed popularity!! I am excited to visit the park and check it out.

Maybe it was because I remembered it being more pronounced, maybe it was because I was in the front row, maybe it was my imagination....

But that neck breaker of a stop at the station brake run was really timid today. Pleasant even!

In no shape or form am i suggesting this should happen, or is, but lets say engineering woke up tomorrow and said this ride need extensive repairs blah blah, gotta close it at the end of the season for good.

My vote would be a retrack since they can re-use most of the existing infrastructure. But lets say Six Flags say NAH, lets demolish it. From a marketing standpoint, a retrack is a tough sell since its basically the same attraction with "new steel". So the ROI probably doesn't make sense. Nemesis and Hulk were unique exceptions since they both occupy somewhat unique terrain or sections of the park where large scale demolition/repuroposing would be difficult.

Do you think they would be open to a new invert elsewhere in the park something on the scale of Alpengeist/Raptor?

We could see the 2nd coming of B&M inverts lol.

The only invert I see getting retracked is Montu, mainly because I can’t see them replacing it with anything that’s worth replacing it with
I can also see the OG Batman the Ride at Great America getting a retrack but may not be worth it
