So I experimented today.
I took 4 friends along with me for a trip to BGW today. I was not dissapointed by their reactions to the new music, they were all sad not to hear the old music. They were so mad, some of them remarked several times, while walking through(as quickly as possible),"Why the Beatles?!" Or, "Why rock music?!" To put it lightly, they hated the new music. I don't think they cared all that much about the flags, the new bus, or the neon colors. However, they know that music, it's in their cherished memories of the park, and now it's gone.
By the time we got into Heatherdowns, everyone took a sigh of relief and said, "Ah, this is what I like to hear." Or, "This is my jam, dude!" Now, this is not supposed to represent everyone's feelings about this. Maybe my friends feel that way because we feel the old music had more class. However, as it has been stated before, hamlet audio plays a huge part in the immersion of a hamlet. It also is burned into memories, and Banbury Cross's music was the most known, remembered, and cherished soundtrack of all of Busch Gardens, but now it's gone, something I don't think I'll ever be able to forgive.
