Apparently Big Ben was struck by lightning yesterday and was continuously chiming? They have the seating/structure blocked off currently.
I was there. I didn’t actually see it happen but I saw two park employees looking at it then I saw it blocked off

It showed up at the start of F&W at the same time as the event projections. It seems a bit random to me.
I get it if we’re going with the whole England ties to Williamsburg like colonial stuff during Elizabethan times… but we’ve kinda long lost that “old country” aesthetic. It is rather odd.
Unless they are bringing back old country for the anniversary? I can dream right ?

Don't know who we should thank for getting it up, but whoever is responsible, massive props!
