Me an a few friends did Ashland Berry Farm's haunt tonight.

I have to say I was extremely impressed with the quality and style of the houses and their haunted corn maze is something that you just have to experience to believe. Anyone traveling to KD for haunt and looking for something else to do on the area should check this one out.

It has been many, many years since last checked in with Ashland Berry but I was super impressed the one time I did go.

Are they still using the actor-triggered, light-up masks? Think their event is still the only place I've seen them used and it has stuck with me for years. Super effective!

I know nothing about Ashland Berry Farm but have wanted to go for years…

Do they touch you at this event? Also do you need to crawl at all? Those two things will be an automatic NOPE from me if they apply here, haha!

There are sections that require crawling and climbing for Booger Woods. They aren’t supposed to touch you but shit happens in the pitch black areas.

Booger Woods requires a lot of physical activity that the others don’t.

Edit: For clarity, they have 3 other houses that don’t require crawling or anything crazy.

Been a while since I visited, but definitely echo @RollyCoaster—Booger Woods is a very inaccessible experience. I find it especially effective because of that aspect, but yeah, if you're not good with crawling, a lot of uneven surfaces, etc, Ashland Berry is probably a bad fit. Red Vein has zero crawling—may be worth giving it a go!

It's been a couple years since I went and another year since I did Booger Woods. The houses are decent. Booger is pretty crude but you're way out there and the sky is huge, especially if not cloudy, it's very dark out there. However the last time just inhaled too much smoke. First the hayride at terrifying speeds and dust and tractor smoke everywhere. Then someone left an old car just idling which stunk. Then about 6 bonfires and that time actually to wait a bit for the main trail so we're in it. Wasn't even cold. And the ride back and more gas chainsaws ending every house. It is definitely an experience but not something I want to do every year.

I'm thinking about trying Creepy Hollow again, only time I went was their first year. Did seem very for-profit. Red Vein and Haunted Hill are also good.

Can't speak for how it might have been previously but I am 5 8 and there was only one spot that I had to get fown for the rest I could easily lean foward and walk through without any issues.
