Think Arnolds Park is going through something, the Miler kiddy coaster that’s been operating at that location since 1959 has casually been listed for sale; Kid Coaster
They’ve been making alottt of crappy choices at that park lately, largely at the expense of their charm and integrity. Older attractions that were longtime staples have been leaving for cheap replacements, often bulk orders from ADM Rides or Vertical Reality. These are companies that essentially make rides more for rentals rather than parks and are insanely cheap as a result. ADM is often referred to as making disposable rides, they are compared to park level rides what McDonalds Happy Meal toys are to Mattel. No park should stoop so low as to bulk buy $10K rides to phase out their midway.
That’s why a Mad Mouse replacement doesn’t excite me because given their recent streak the priority is to get the cheapest possible replacement.
